Pearson and Cunningham back from suspension, some rumours Pearson could still be injured but Alex Neil seems confident he will play. Any news on Daniel Johnson?

Is it time for Moult?

Rudd
Fisher, Huntington, Davies, Cunningham
Browne, Pearson, Johnson
Barkhuizen, Moult, Robinson

Quick glance on PNE Online and it seems most people agree on that eleven.

I don’t think he’ll play Moult yet, think he’ll stick with Bodin and keep Robinson up top.

That would be my 11 aswell. I feel more confident of 3 points tonight than I do at home to Ipswich on Saturday.

Villa fans I'm getting there quite early tonight. Where best for away fans for beer and a burger? Does Witton Arms do a bit of grub?

I'd stick with Robinson up top tonight.

As leylandwhite says it would be like PNE to win tonight then fuck up against Ipswich on Saturday.

If you're on the train, try the Shakespeare in the city centre, just a few metres from New Street has decent food. Better beers are down Digbeth way, but that's heading the other way from Villa Park.

Witton Arms have burger vans in the pub "garden". If you're on the train there are shit loads of pubs around New Street.

No Grealish and no Adoma. Think we'll struggle to be fair

Fair play to Alex Neil going 442 at Villa Park, paid off so far.

Barkhuizen & Browne sound like they're having stormers, Pearson sounds like he's winning the midfield scrap.

Get another lads.

Sounds like our inability to take our chances when on top is going to cost us again.

Haven't seen the penalty decision but the commentators were shocked about it.

Please tell me we haven't been bummed out of 2pts yet again.

We should have been 2 up though with Robinson missing a glorious 1 on 1. Before the game you’d take a point but we’ve gotta win our next 2

Annoying that the team's below us all won.

I don't even want to watch the pen decision from what people are saying.

Cunningham gives him a little shove in the back, Barkhuizen steps across him with no attempt to play the ball which the Villa lad was gonna get to first. Stone wall pen. The fuck are you all watching?

In his post match interview Steve Bruce admitted that at the time he thought it was a soft pen
But he says he’s since seen a video replay and can see it definitely was a penalty.

Aye. Soft, but I can see why it was given. Bit of a daft challenge by Barkhuizen. Their lad was going nowhere.

Just seen the decision, Christ, that would be fucking laughable if it hasn't just cost us 2pts, they don't get softer than that.

You're not telling me referees don't favour the bigger clubs at times, no chance we would get that decision at the other end.

There was no shove by Cunningham.

99/100 you don't see a penalty for a slight lean in the box, if that's a penalty then we might as well ban all contact.

The linesman give it. Waving his flag like a fucking dick.

But it shows how far we have come to be fitted and feeling robbed coming away from Villa Park with a point.

Play offs are very achievable but if we don't make it this season, a couple of additions and we could be a serious threat next season.

My worry is losing the likes of Browne and Pearson to premier league sides if we don’t go up this year.

Edit: and Davies

Just have to deal with it when it happens, Davies, Browne and Pearson won't be here forever.

Good to see we're constantly looking at bringing them through though, Earl and Harrop will both get better. 16yr old O'Reilly on the bench on Saturday, 18yr old Simpson coming off the bench last night and this Howard getting a loan move to Cork the same day he signs a pro contract.

We've got a good system.

Agree with what your saying but those players would require daft fees for us to even consider. Like Hugil.

We have a fantastic system. I know he was only on loan last season but losing Mcgeady this season was a huge blow but other players step up there game.

Browne has been incredible the last couple of months and Robinson is a different player compared to the beginning of the season.

Us and Brentford are very similar in our transfer dealings.
