A total of 3 shots on target from both teams at Crewe.

I came back from Spain with the plague so didn't go but we aint winning anything at the moment.

Should have been acred for a Crewe player in the first five minutes. Sorta understand the ref not giving it that early but I will pretend that's the reason we lost.

I do think Rowe should have been sent off and I think it's likely that the ref only chose not to because it was so early. I also think Lewis Leigh was lucky not to get sent off near the end for a similar thing.

2 average teams, Draw would of been a fair result but Cook took his chance, we didn't.
Lose Tuesday then Notts Saturday, Notts the kind of team, pacey wide men, quick passing that kill us. Parkys be lucky to not get his P45.

We're just so slow moving the ball, allows whoever we play to get behind the ball. Parky just won't change formation, always like for like.

Autos slipping away
We've not moved the ball quickly for a couple of months, since Palmer was injured against you pretty much.

Shot ourselves in the foot, second was such a poor goal to concede, especially after coming out and bossing the start of the second half. Great equaliser from Hawkes. Donny looked organised if nothing else, and I assume the cheque's in the post for the six points we've gifted them this year! Draw's probably a fair result on another day, but it didn't go our way. Lack of quality up front yet again.

Wow, we won, a far better performance even though it was still shite. Ref didn’t have a clue and I’m not sure how the linesman on the west stand side could say Ironside was offside with a Tranmere defender 3 yards behind him.
It sounded similar to last season's game where we did enough to get something from the game, but failed to take chances Two poor sides by the sound of it. I'd not realised how bad our away record at Donny is, 18 years since we last won there.

Very professional from us. If we keep.this going we might trouble the playoffs, though I expect us to finish 8th. Barrow imo seeing them home and away are not that great.
We seem to currently have a never say die attitude. Top goal scorer signs for a Championship side? No problem, he'll be covered. Curtis and Bugiel did the job.

Best central defenders out injured? Don't worry, the old warhorse and the loanee with shedloads of experience in the Irish league will do a job.

We could, possibly sneak the playoffs if things go our way.

Utter shambles today made Newport look like Man City for 45 minutes this is the best squad we have had since being relegated unfortunately we have an absolute clown as a manager and he's wasting it's potential other than the odd good win here and there.

Shocked by your recent form, as around Christmas time it looked like you would really kick on to challenge for the play offs, after good wins over ourselves and Wrexham.

Need a win ASAP to get out of this slump. Mullin and Lee are both bang out of form which is having a big impact and our best ball-playing defender has been out injured which is having greater impact than it should.

A few weeks ago I had no doubt we'd go up, how things can change in a matter of a few weeks. Still in our hands of course but I'm not going to pretend I'm not a bit concerned and surprised at our recent form. I did not see us losing 3 in a row.

As for yesterday, we lost to a poor Bradford team. First half, we did a Notts County, completely dominated play without a decent chance to show for it. Our best chance came early in the 2nd half when Lee headed wide.

The game started to get away from us when we brought Fletcher off. Everything we were doing in that end of the pitch went through him, Dalby is just out of his depth at this level. Not paying slightly more for a striker to play that role could cost us dear as if we're going to bring Fletcher off after an hour we're effectively chucking in the towel at thar point. Lee and Mullin brilliance can't mask our deficiencies anymore.

Bradford's penalty and goal came from defensive lapses. Hayden got caught out and brought his man down for the penalty and I felt he was lucky not to walk for it. Tozer got completely bullied by Cook for the goal and should hang his head in shame for getting beaten like that. Hopefully he's dropped on Tuesday as O'Connell is a far better option in the middle.

Credit where it's due for Bradford, some of the better support we've had here this season and you can tell that support was more made up of long-standing fans than the day trippers we usually get here.

Those Stockport goals were gift wrapped and came with a card too. Trying to play out against the best side in the league when you're in a relegation scrap, it's just suicidal madness. If Artell is this 'builder' we are told then it looks like he's literally taking the place down before building it back up.

He will be back on his UK podcast tour before too long at this rate.

It's ok, Artell seemingly has a free pass for the whole of this season due to the promotion dreams ending in October thanks to Hurst.

He's a fortunate guy and has not excuses if given that long to build to unless next season.

Anyone else noticed how referees were strict with time wasting at the start of the season (plenty of time added on too) but now that’s all gone away, the added time and the yellow cards. Bottlejobs.

it’ll be one of those fads that they have from the FA, like the 6 second rule for keepers etc, it just makes both the refs and the FA look stupid.

Disappointing to drop back out of the play-offs so soon after Notts - a couple of very fortunate late winners for Harrogate and MK are the sort of luck you need to be successful. Looking at the sides above us, to finish in the play-offs we need to be better over the course of the next 16 games than 2 of them, which doesn't seem so unlikely. We haven't played Barrow at all yet so hard to judge that, but we were no worse than Crewe when they beat us (apart from being utterly impotent, missing a couple of sitters and Crewe sealing it on the break in injury time), and I'm fairly sure we're better than Harrogate and Wimbledon. MK and Wrexham I'm not convinced we'd get the better of necessarily, but one of those will finish top 3 with Mansfield and Stockport anyway. Definitely starting to bunch up behind us as well - Newport in good form, Morecambe and Accrington both capable and even Bradford aren't entirely out of it either. I think anyone below that would struggle to get into the top 7 from here though.

That's funny as I'm fairly certain we are better than you. Time will tell.

Well yes, time does tell, and in our only meeting this season we edged a tight game. So based on that evidence....

Based on that kind of evidence we should be above Barrow. Does not work like that. There is nothing in it beyond stockport imo. Any bit of consistency could take a top half side into promotion or playoffs

Our second goal was a great bit of quick thinking and execution from Nick Powell. Grimsby naive but not many players in this league would have punished them to that extent.

Powell been good really last few months, not sure he was worth a three year deal but he is a classy player and shows it when teams don't manage to get close to him.

I.thought it was heartwarming to see our players taking photos with the young Grimsby fans who were requesting them. It's not every day we're in town is it? #classy #respect

The downfall of Hollywood Wrexham has begun!!!

It's all because you failed to sign Luke Armstrong on deadline day and then got out financed by Carlisle for his signature last month. That for me was the beginning of the end for Wrexham and I don't think that a couple of celebrity proprietors will stay invested and interested in a non-league club who are too far out of their depth and are now losers.

So let's all laugh at them!

Carlisle United look in real trouble. Rock bottom in terms of L1, come back to the crapper L2 you'll be a lot more comfortable here, as you know.

Apparently Giggs was a complete twat in corporate yesterday at the CG. Swanned in with bimbo in tow plus associated bouncer, ignored the kids and just about everybody else. Prick.

Actually feel a bit sorry for FGR looking back at our goals, it’s not usual you concede against finishing of such high quality for each goal like that. Nice to see us be clinical mind.

Get the feeling they’ve got bored of it all now tbh, especially given wrexham are the new media darlings (until the next new farcical owners come in).

If they were so bothered why let the best player go in the window?
