I see Grimsby as a bit of a bogey team for us.

I feel they'll be trickier customers than Tranmere or Doncaster so can't afford a poor performance. Mullin to get another 30 minutes I reckon, possibly replacing Fletcher who might start with Palmer. We'll have McClean back too, fresh from his battles with Mbappé. Do Grimsby have their own Mbappé?

I feel as though Harrogate are in a false position due to not scoring the number of goals they should have, so could be a tough match for Bradford.
I'm saying this largely from what those watching Harrogate have said, and also they've been without Armstrong, and even when he's played he's obviously had an interesting month or two off the pitch.
However, Harrogate's xG and xGD are both higher than Bradford's, so the data reinforces my belief as well.

Crawley are only narrow favourites against Tranmere. Obviously I'm assuming Dawes will be sacked today, but if I put all my world belongings (OK, actually more likely to be a tenner) on Crawley I might be able to cash out if Tranmere put him out of his misery. Because if Tranmere play like yesterday it will be a bloodbath.

Grimsby will be up for it, they always are.

Can't see Mullin starting based on yesterday, he needs some WD-40 on him. I'd also play Bickerstaff instead of Dalby, at least he might pop up with a goal. The strikers are still making life difficult for us with their lack of goals.

I think the front 2 is going to be Fletcher and Mullin once they are both fit, Palmer has put in some good overall displays but only 1 goal to show for it.

Could come a cropper at home to Walsall. Never really know what to expect results wise. I mean, I know how we‘ll play but have no idea how it’ll turn out next time.

Haven't won't back to back away games since 2021 and haven't won back to back away games in back to back games since 2008.

Wimbledon will be tricky though, lost their unbeaten record yesterday and haven't won at home yet, but got a lot of quality in that team, plus they'll have the likes of Lewis, Evans and Al Hamadi back. Being greedy, but I'd love to get another away win. Probably would take a point now if offered, although with Wrexham, Salford(poor start but still a good team) and Crawley away after this, would be great to win again.

Crawley have had a good start to the season and actually are pleasing to watch (a tad too tippy tappy for me) and after the horror of last season where we were, by a country mile the worst team I saw in the league, it is very pleasing to say that.

However, last season has knocked all my confidence in the club. By both teams starts we should beat Tranmere. Still not going to predict it though. That Swindon result gives me pause as well.

Surprised Salford have had such a slow start, still feels like a tough game. Hopefully we can punish them for being dickheads and moving it to Friday night.

A fair amount probably hinges on Jones and McGoldrick being available, think they would probably have been the difference to turn a dominant draw into a win yesterday. Imagine Jones will probably be on the bench if he’s playing in Malta on Tuesday night.

Tbh, I think a lot of fans, me included, have overestimated the strength of L2. It’s competitive, yes, but there’s not much between a whole host of sides. Nobody is that good.

I feel like at some point this season we will switch it on and start looking comfortable, although this is some way off and apart from Tranmere (who were terrible) it's all been a bit scrappy so far.

Grimsby are always tricky, so approaching this game with more hope than expectation of getting another win. It's a bit early for Mullin to be back in any sort of form, although early signs of Fletcher are very promising. McClean should be back too, which will be huge. They may be old men in football terms but those two are beasts.

Mbappe goal involvements this season: 5
Abo Eisa goal involvements this season: 5

Is Hayden injured then? Imagine we'll be working on our corners and free kicks this week if so.

We've been great at the back so far this season, so this is very much a case of attack vs defence. Wrexham away should be tough, and while they've clearly got a better and more expensive group of individuals I don't fear anyone in this division as we're capable of taking points off every single team when we can drag them into a fight. If we defend and press well and hold our nerve there's no reason we can't get something from this. It's probably gonna be a horrible and stressful watch for us though.

Feeling confident that despite what the opposition do we will have too much for them. Its not going to last all season obviously but lovely to be riding the Flynnball train at this moment in time.
6 games played and an unbeaten start. It could be argued that we should be on maximum points considering we have let in a last minute equaliser to Wrexham, let slip a 2 goal lead to Crewe with an 85th minute equaliser and only drew with a Donny side that played with 10 men for near on 60 minutes.
Could be a difficult game on Saturday v Walsall but considering that we won yesterday allied to the fact that I always work on the fact that 4 points every 2 games is promotion form then a draw and a continuation of the unbeaten run is not the end of the world.

Biggest clash of the day is surely the battle of the Rovers. Worst home record (pld 4 lost 4) v worst away record (pld 3 lost 3). The stoppable force v The moveable object....something has to give.

Wow, didn’t realise what a piss poor start to the season Salford have had. Their usual capacity crowd might take a hit next Friday.

Really winnable game for us on Saturday and got to be attacking AFC Wimbledon from the get go. Very surprised they've started well given how poor they were second half of last season and I was surprised they didn't sack Jackson too. But he must be doing something right now!

I think we'll gain our third successive win and go in to a home game with Colchester high on confidence that we can make it four in a row. We're playing some excellent football at the moment but I'm not getting too carried away. We didn't win a game in October at all in the last two seasons and, over the last 20 years or so, history tells us it's a month we've often struggled in for one reason or another. The rare times we tend to do well in October have ultimately led us towards battling for promotion or consolidating ourselves at a higher level.

Still early though, there's quite a few teams have the potential to go on long unbeaten runs. Stags, yourselves and Gillingham all seem to have the potential to do it.

Newport away for us and it's our 5th away game in 7 matches.
Given their total capitulation yesterday at Crawley we've got to be targeting 3 points (and a Dom Telford hat-trick)...

Salford looked a decent side at our place and ended up seeing out their 2-0 win fairly comfortably. So I’m surprised they’ve struggled since then tbh.

Sitting back against Wrexham sounds like a wonderful idea!! Only hope is Conteh controlling the money men in midfield but think we’ll be done over this weekend unfortunately.

We'll sit back too. The +4.5 goals is a banker.

On paper, we should win this game quite comfortably but this league has a habit of not going that way especially with Adkins taking charge for his first game

If we play like the last 2 home games then it could be a walkover, our whole squad are thriving under this new way of playing. Personally, I didn't think it was possible to be successful in League 2 with this brand of football, but it turns out you just need a bit of quality on the ball.

Our biggest weakness is the size of our team and therefore defending set pieces, we're constantly biting the ankles of the opposition, if we're to be undone I imagine this will be it.
