Walsall and Crawley wins tighten up the playoff race, (because they both have a game in hand on nearly everybody else).
This was a night where those 2 teams probably needed to prove that they're still in the hunt, and they did.

Good night for us with draws in the 2 important games of the night.

Weird game. Referee got everything wrong. We had so many chances and should have won comfortably on balance of chances but as it was we massively got away with not conceding a goal that wasn't given and should have lost.

Happy with a draw though tbh.

Our goal from a flick on from a throw. I think the defender may have wrong footed the keeper (touch?) and the Grimsby reject gets his 17th goal of the season. Feed the Orsi!

Close game but Wimbledon lost their way when Bugiel went off.

Our 2nd clean sheet in a row. First time with done that in about 2 seasons.

Most happy about the way we played first half, front foot and pressing high up the pitch. We need more of that away from home.

Favourable results from our perspective of course but points on the road away at tricky places not to be sniffed at for Stockport and Wrexham.

Onto Saturday looks as though everyone got tough games in the top 5/6 again, Stockport at home you’d fancy to win but 3 without one now maybe not. We’ve got Salford who haven’t lost since NYD, Wrexham away at Gills, Crewe at Notts, Barrow home to Bradford and MK got an inform Newport.

Suspect at least a few of those will drop points Saturday so could be a big weekend to pick up all 3.

Decent night for us. Still can’t believe how well placed we are for the play-offs, we’ve been going at like a point a game since about October. Feel like we’ve probably got a run of wins in us soon with how we’re playing and some kinder fixtures coming up.

As we're keeping one eye on the 3 teams above us but also very wary of the play off chasing pack, the results tonight probably couldn't have gone much better. Nobody really closing in behind us, nor those above us pulling away.

Awful game at Gillingham, take a point with 11 players out but they were there for the taking, they're a terrible team that is going nowhere despite the millions they spend.

Losing Hawkins, Hutardo and Lapslie meant pretty much any attacking threat we had was gone, but even so that was a fucking hard watch.
We were shit from start to finish and our only saving grace is that Stockport were not much better. Though to be fair, they should have been 3 up at half time.

So along with others out injured that's 6 key players that would certainly get into our strongest 11 Booth, Williams, Offord, Tabiner, Powell and Long all out.

If he's proven right about the payment, I imagine it could be rescinded to be fair. SKY have said they're investigating it. You know it's bad when that happens.
