AFC at home in the 12.30pm kick off then (although I am certain it will kick off even earlier than that...).

AFC have won their last 3 games. We have lost our last 3 games. AFC have also beaten us 1-0, 3-0 and 0-2 in our last 3 games against each other since March.

So 0 goals scored and 6 conceded in the last 3 games against this lot, 3 defeats in a row, and 3 defeats in a row in the league too (we're even bottom of the form table)...

That means a home win is nailed on. Fucking hope so as it's a must win game for us to keep remotely in the promotion picture (we can dream). AFC have never beaten us at Stadium:MK in the league. Continue that please.
Well another 45 minutes goes by without a goal against this lot. Over 5 hours since we last scored against them in fact…been the better team though, surprisingly.

I know, I know, one game is obviously not a good sample size, but how on earth are Walsall a million points clear at the top of the league?!

Waiting to now lose 3-2...!

Worst half for a long while from us. Jellis missing a big blow as he sets the tone. We've had injuries but dealt with them fairly well so far until now - Jellis, Hall and Earing all being out at once is leaving us short of quality in midfield when we get on the ball.

Still can salvage this with out second half record though.

Bradford look okay but with a gameplan that is working. Just getting it forwards quickly so we can't do our "press you to death" thing. First time this season I've seen Harry Williams not dominate his striker too. Kavanagh is a clever player.

Comfortable first half, Kav should have passed just before half time and it would probably have been 3. Not over yet though I know they came from behind against MK Dons so we can’t get complacent.

19 year old academy player Charlie Waller on at CB. Presumably Luke Offord injured.

The league is lucky we had so many injuries at the beginning of the season, because I think we’d have walked it.

Alright, alright…I’m getting carried away. Or am I ….

Gone with the exact line up I wanted. Byers on the bench and Rico Richard’s.

Happy with that, let’s see how it plays out.

No other team towards the top has had to deal with injuries so I’d say you’re bang on. Promotion guaranteed.

Fair enough lineup that. Argument maybe Sang deserves a start but then can’t quibble too much as that would likely mean John going to the bench. Great to see Byers back. Hopefully he can keep it that way the rest of the way.

Not a single player from our starting 11 at Gillingham on the opening day of the season is in our team today.

New team, same shit.

Decent point on the road I'd have taken that this morning. They were better than previously. We were solid today but not spectacular.

MK vs Wimbledon possibly the worst game I’ve watched all season. Absolutely nothing happened.

What an awful game of football. Not even a good point despite AFC’s league position because they didn’t even manage a shot on target and we were the better side. At least we kept a clean sheet for the first time since December 3rd, but ultimately 2 points dropped.

Now, 6 hours without a goal against that lot. 4 games without a win. Brilliant.

Yep for some reason we were back to nearly our fully fit starting 11 and we were a bit flat. Still win your home and draw away is a fine way to progress.

Ah well, 9 wins in a row and then a loss at a place we never win at anyway. I'll take that every day. Still top. Full credit to Bradford, did a job on us and fully deserved the win.

Totally not ourselves today. Draw a line under it as a bad day at the office and one of the very few poor performances of the season and go again.

Fantastic day at VP, shame we’d not had Patto and Sarc all season. Wasn’t impressed with Sarc before his injury but he’s been fantastic on his return and adds not only quality but street smartness to the team.

Cracking finish for your first from him. Always looked dangerous whenever I've seen him.

Another strange line-up from Adkins will do well to get something from todays home game v Gills.

Enjoyed that!

Big game against Morecambe on Tues, then onto Wimbledon away next Saturday.

Our lads must be absolutely buzzing after that.

Thought we were good today. Played some decent stuff and did a bit of a job on Walsall, I thought.

Also, nice to see Chris Kamara back at Valley Parade. Good to see the applause for City fan, Danny Barber, who recently passed away.

Good luck for rest of the season, Saddlers. Think you've already done enough to go up.

Thanks to the Harrogate fans for joining in the minutes applause for our former player Brian Usher who passed away. So far all I can say is Joe Ironside has got a new coat, it’s Harrogate’s number 5. As usual he isn’t getting anything from the ref

Carlisle are cursed I think their new centre back injured 3 minutes into debut.

On plus side mr ‘never scores in the FL’ has just scored in the FL, Scott makes it 1-0

Felt confident all week that we’d win and made the best form team in the country look absolutely atrocious. Alex Pattison is genuinely world class and when we put out our first choice 11 we’re a match for anyone.
Expected so much more from Walsall but they were just poor long ball merchants, boot it forward asap and hope for a knock down? Is that it? Not done the ‘one man team’ tag much good today.
Morecambe at home on Tuesday where in Bradford City tradition we’ll probably cock up.
Also special mention to Danny Johnson, I can’t remember that many penalty saves in our favour over the years but he’s missed two in three seasons.

You need a bit of luck at this level regarding injuries.

If Sarcevic and Pattison hadn't have each missed 3 months of the season, I'm sure we would have been top 3.

That said, we have adapted to missing Andy Cook through injury so far, we have simply changed style and formation and Callum Kavanagh is a totally different player but is doing ever so well. Ive never seen such a grafter with his non stop running and harassing defenders.

See you in league 1 next season, hopefully!
