Vale fans - was the ref this week just rubbish or part of the organised conspiracy against you?
I thought he was largely ok. Smith v Smith was set up as a real battle of gamesmanship and so it proved and he dealt with it ok.

Got to defend it and to be fair Amos should save the last two both right through him!

Be annoyed if we lose this, sides that want promotion win these type of games with the chances we had first half.

Maybe a year too early for us.
Agreed, Amos has to save it, but just so frustrating to see how far on he was. Amos has to save it though

Another week, another change in formation.

Started most games 3-4-2-1 and last week finally mixed it up due to injuries against Doncaster and went 4-1-3-2…

Now seems Lindsey is keen to mix it up again and we have gone 4-1-2-1-2…

Trueman

Lemonheigh-Evans
Sanders
Lawrence
Tomlinson

Williams

Kelly
Gilbey

Crowley

Hogan
Hendry

New signing Trueman straight in, in goal and other signings Patterson and Orsi on the bench. Nemane benched as we’ve gone for a traditional RB rather than RWB and Lemonheigh-Evans looked good there against Doncaster but also a shame because Nemane is a terrific player and topping the assist stats this season by a mile but doesn’t quite fit in to the defensive side…I guess as an impact sub if we are losing now…

Umolu is getting battered by fans which is harsh, looked way off it when he came on but his first minutes in pro men’s football, not sure why he’s now the option over Hackford though.

We weren’t great but thankfully Harrogate offered no quality, great home form continues.

A game I’ll have forgotten about by the morning, but an important 3 points which is the main thing. We were never in any danger throughout the game despite sleepwalking through the second half.

The ref was ok overall but crumbled a little bit 2nd half. The young linesman closest the camera basically gave whatever Swindon fans asked him to 2nd half and nearlycost us. We got 2 very dubious corners though that we didn't take advantage of. Frustrating Overall but at the same time relieved. We were a level above them 1st half and gifted them 3 goals. Should have scored 5 at least with the clear cut chances we created. Take the point move on.

Cheers to Morecambe here for coming out and fouling Jones about six times in the first 20 mins until he went off injured. Lovely stuff.

30 minutes gone and only Carlisle have managed to score out of all clubs. What a thrilling league.

Another absolutely dreadful goal. Marschall has been good but coming out for that was a terrible decision. 2 chances (both absolute gifts) and 2 goals for Newport.

0-0 with Bromley at HT. Pretty even game, in the sense that we both look like mid table dross. Zero shots on target from us, one from Bromley. Looking at the league though, seems not a day for goals…

I still don’t believe it. He was the shittest goalkeeper we have had in our 20 years.

Well that was 45 minutes I won't get back. All that happened in that half was Accrington constantly bombarding our box with long throws. O we did have one good chance but that was about it. At least we've got a bit of quality on the bench .

Watching this Ross Joyce masterclass reminds me of the great value I'm getting from my season ticket.

No idea on either pen shouts, both which weren't given, but if Campbell got booked for diving surely the Gills striker should've been as well.

Scrappy game so far.

That was like when you accidentally press change player on a football video game and don’t realise you’re controlling the goalkeeper and he runs out of his goal in a random direction

First half we were head and shoulders above Swindon. If we go in 3-0 it's a fair reflection. Second half, they really picked it up and won a lot of second balls and we were just really poor. Could have won it though at the end...unbelievable save that I thought was in. Still, take a point away from home and move on to a big home game against Notts county. Hope Stockley isn't injured...we looked a bit lost without him.

It’s not been enjoyable, but sometimes you come up against a team that tries to kick you every time you have the ball and just need to win. Fair play, doing the things we need to do to have a chance.

I know it’s obvious issues when your bottom but usual two crucial issues at present that we cannot keep a clean sheet at all and away from home just cannot grind out a draw if in a decent position.

Needs sorted in the summer whole new back line for me the current lot are all utterly hopeless
