As Ali Maxwell on NTT20 says, that was a match that happened. I didn't expect us to beat Accy.

A serious top 3 contender should put accy away imo. A dull nil nil and we are falling just short again

Awful game in truth. We were a bit better 2nd half but we did no where near enough to beat Accrington. Onto Crewe and Salford at home next week.

Notts are going to overtake Walsall aren't they? Just so consistent in picking up wins and look stronger than most. They'll go up as Champions. They were pretty awful when we played them earlier in the season, but their side is settled and strong in most areas. They'll beat us on Thursday I think.

Walsall, as we thought, are dropping off a cliff form wise. They're still in a great position obviously but I just think Notts will better their results. Surprisingly poor result for Wimbledon today...Accy were dreadful last week. Bradford keep picking up wins...it seems they've finally got a settled side and are just doing enough. Crewe, as I thought, are dropping off. They look a pretty decent side but short in depth and it's starting to show.

For me, we're playing for 3rd place/playoffs. We looked much better than Swindon first half, a really good team, so to come in at 2-2 was pretty poor really. We have these lapses in concentration that the auto sides don't have. If you're scoring 3 away from home, you should be winning the game. One big positive was Byers coming on, who ran the show and looked like the player that we're paying a lot of money to. He has to start on Thursday and we have to pray that Stockley is fit. As I said before the game, him and Tolaj as a pair are very hard to stop..Tolaj is on fire at the moment.

My god we are terrible.

What a shockingly poor performance. Defensively that was worse than last week despite the scoreline.

Anyone that think this shower of shit can stay up need their heads examined.

The pitch may be shit, but that shower that we spread on it today was far more shit than the pitch.

This is the worst team I’ve ever seen.
The longer it stayed at 1-1 though the more I was convinced you were gonna smash and grab it, I'm just happy with a win though.

I’m not liking all these ‘Notts will win the league’ posts…

Can we just go back to flying under the radar, please?

Workmanlike win today against a horrid team - lovely jubbly

We’ve signed another one in this Charlie Whitaker kid. Looks a proper player.

I wasn't there today, but it sounded on the radio like we laboured a bit to win without McGoldrick and Jones off after 20 mins. Both (and Tsaroulla) have had/are having scans so fingers crossed nothing too bad.

Not sure you can read too much into our current form, we're generally playing the lower teams and our run in is a lot more difficult. Happier with that though, get some points on the board and we can get some confidence.

Too late now obviously but come the summer we need to just sign a load of nasty bastard shithousery players. We have too many soft namby pambys who give up at the first sign of adversity.

Absolutely battered Carlisle there, could’ve been 6 or 7. Certainties for the drop IMO

I don't mind our position right now, obviously wish we were higher, but going largely unnoticed, disregarded. We were good for the most part today, very good. It was a 4 or 5 - 1 performance overall, made an in form Swindon look very poor. 3 mistakes cost us. They don't happen most weeks. Saw enough from Byers last 20 to see he could be crucial if he stays fit. Very confident now.

Looks like the Super Computer might have found another gem based on last two performances by Mr Short Term Contract#radar

Agree with 1862 don't read too much or get too carried away from further afield. All we've been doing is beating who we should. Will be a different story against the likes of Vale, Bradford, Dons or anyone around us in fact.

Struggled first half to create more than a couple of chances, laboured and too slow a build up for most of the half.
Fair play to Morecambe they didn't play a low block with loads behind the ball and tried to press us high up. They hit the post but that was about it. Their press naturally left us space.

Second half was much better but took a mistake from their Keeper for Whittaker to break the deadlock. Then just when we needed a second to clam everyone down and give us breathing space the Gambian Prince creates and scores one all by himself. A Morecambe defender became the latest to be stuffed into a locker and have his money stolen as the big man nets his 14th league goal this season. Glad we rejected the sizeable January bid.

Another clean sheet and achieved without McGoldrick and Jones (who unfortunately left the game early through injury).

Great set of results around us is an added bonus.

Well the bottom three all lost, so Carlisle are only marginally worse off by virtue of having a game less now. Still all to play for in the mini league.

Probably the same lot who were saying Walsall would win the league in early January.

Loads of games left, loads of points to be won and lost. We need to carry on this great form before a really rough run of games in March.

I think the Top 3 will come from the current Top 6 but god knows who.

Yeah I think if Tranmere were not so bad then it would already be done but with them losing every week that’s keeping the bottom 2 still in with a sniff.

I say this every week, but you have to see us to believe how bad we are.

Grimsby fans had the pleasure of seeing it today.

There is nothing in this team that can turn our fortunes and keep us up.

Just a bunch of over paid losers stealing a living.
