Weak Human beings?

Roy Keane recently accused contemporary players of being weak human beings. I think the sort of person who commits the kind of deliberate tackle like he did on David Busst is a weak human being, but anyway, do you agree with Keane?

To say they're weak human beings is I think going too far. Another question, can any amateur psychologists here diagnose what's wrong with Keane? I know there's something wrong with him.

Kind of agree with him tbh. I was at college for a two week course the other week, and all these kids there have nothing about them whatsoever; too busy wondering how to keep up with the Joneses on social media, and going through life listlessly. Of course not all are like that, and some are very driven, so good luck to them; but there definitely is a problem happening in society to the youth of today.

In football I reckon most of the young players are mollycoddled too much these days; given too much praise too early; think they are the bees knees without proving it; wanting a big car and 400 million pairs of trainers to post on Instagram, instead of working on their game; and even when they do, criticising them is like walking on eggshells, unlike in Keane's day.

In his case, I just think he is an overly driven person who lets his temper get in the way too much at times. It brought the best out of his game thats for sure, but also makes him look a cnut at other times. I kind of like him, always have.

Roy Keane was a tremendous player. But is clearly mentally unstable or not the socially accepted, its not to do with modern players as Keane didn't get on with players during his day. He is just a grump.

He also wasnt involved on David Buust's injury though. That was Irwin and Brian McClair. You are most likely thinking of the Erik Bakke injury.

Can’t help but like Keane. One of the greats, and tells it how it is. Bit of a mad man, but at least he has character.

Haaland who accused Keane of feigning injury when he did his knee.

Whilst Keanes revenge was abhorrent some of his comments about the snowflakes in football and in general the wider society are fucking spot on.
