Good game. Sean Clare played very well for us.
It could have gone either way, we were unable to take many of our chances whereas Villa's 12 men managed to take theirs late in the game.

We carry on playing like that we will have no problem staying up.
Villa look good going forward, they might get automatic promotion (certainly with that ref playing for em every match)

I don't normally moan about bad refs (we seem to get em every week) but Swarborick really took the piss I hope he's still stuck in traffic on a nightmare journey back on the bus to Birmingham.

Not the first time we've had issues with that bent c***....sent two off against Coventry in 2006.

Thought we played well first half and deserved more from the game, every time anyone farted near Snodgrass the cheating little c*** went down, they got goals from set pieces, the first wasn't a foul and the third was a goal kick but somehow Swarbrick found it to be one....

I like Villa as a club and they travelled in good numbers yesterday

Was a great game just a shame we couldn't hold on for at least a draw, think our players tired second half after a fantastic first, and with the lack of options on the bench and the amount of games coming up that was our downfall. Sean Clare looks a brilliant player, Adam Reach should never play left back or left midfield again, unreal in the middle of the park and I'd be shocked if there are no big offers for him in the summer. We've got some really good talent at the club in Wildsmith, Dawson, Clare, Reach, Joao and even Hirst. Would much rather see us stop picking up the older proven players who are over the hill, and build these into the team every week.

As for Swarbrick, he should be struck off the pro refereeing list, how you can only give us 1 free kick in 90 minutes deserves some kind of investigating.

Would be reasonable if he was consistent for both teams, but to only see 1 Villa foul but manage to find 16 from us seems very odd.
I've seen many horrendous refereeing performances over the years, but this is the only time I have genuinely thought the referee had a agenda or grudge.

The picture of him and Bruce embracing don't look good at all, after that so called performance.
I know the club won't put in an official complaint but they really ought to.

In retrospect Swarprick was consistent.
He consistently missed Villa's misdemeanours whilst consistently seeing (and often imagining) Wednesdays.

I've seen him have some excellent games but also some stinkers and he was atrocious Saturday, allowed Terry to get in his ear all game and hugged Bruce at the end, not to mention the helping a Villa player up from the floor, one of the first times I've seen that.

We may be shit but at least you lot keep us amused.
