From reading that I would conclude that our six foot seven inch centre forward did not do enough to worry the statisticians in aerial battles.

Either we're using him incorrectly or he ain't doing enough.

Casey
Which one was it? I can't remember you posing much aerial threat, our defenders don't feature in that first graph either.

This is great. I'm not an expert so I'm not exactly certain on terminology but can we have more metrics as opposed to stat reporting as the season goes on.

So instead of raw data reporting e.g. per cent possession or number of aerial duels won, it's more metric driven i.e. aerial duels won vs aerial dues contested, shots taken vs shots converted, per cent possession vs pass completion?

It might provide more useful insights? Great work

Looks good this two eggs

Sure you’ll find a format that fits as you keep noodling around with it

Are there any stats for most passes completed? Just so we can really find out who never gives the ball away 1 2 3 4

Ask and you shall receive!

Ill try a few different graph formats etc and see what people tend to prefer.

The first one is the 20 players that attempted the most passes per 90 minutes, the orange bar being the number of those passes completed.

The second is the same across all the teams in week 1.

So all 3 of our CB's as well as our deep lying holding midfielder/playmaker made it into the top 8 in the divisions passing statistics. No surprises there, given the amount of time those lot spent passing it around between themselves and the keeper. Only surprised our keeper didn't make it in.

It will come as no shock to you then that your keeper attempted the most passes of the GK's in week 1!

As long as the information is presented in a way that is easily interpreted and understood, it could be on balloons for all I care.
