Don't know what's going on at Prenton Park other than from listening to the radio. But Callum McDonald has been sent off for Tranmere after ploughing through Kevin Mellor and the Tranmere players seem to have lost it in the aftermath, apparently one of them started on our bench and also grabbed hold of Mellor while our physio treated him. Sounds like Tranmere could recieve another red as I'm hearing Peter Clarke punched someone

So that’s not what happened in the slightest. MacDonald has gone in strong and won the ball. Yes he’s followed through and possibly a yellow but shouldn’t be more than that. MacDonald went over to check if your lad was alright and your bench went barmy for some reason

Sounds like the Tranmere fans believe they've been victims of an injustice. I didn't see it but it sounds like the claim is that since McDonald got the ball it can't be a foul.

Have to wait for this evening to see the challenge then, though they won't show the aftermath. They're arguing on the radio that MacDonald was trying to drag Mellor back to his feet or something.

Got our first choice midfield three out and it’s showing big time. Getting dragged into their style and getting bullied. This formation didn’t work before the good winning run and hope Taylor is fit enough we can throw him on at half time and go back to 3-5-2.

Play off hopes going down the drain here.

he was on loan with us about 4 seasons ago and certainly isn't a dirty player

Bristol Rovers the much better side; They've had fifteen attempts at goal although none on target. We've had a header that went 4 miles wide and, errrm, urrrr. Only a matter of time before Rovers score, but I'll be happy with stealing a point.

Awful to concede, long punt and we’ve gone to sleep.

I'd say punt forward is a bit harsh, looked a good ball with your defence caught napping. Got to be at the same level second half as we won't see out a 1-0.

1-0 up over the northampton acrobats.

Christ, they go down easier than a bird in chesterfield, what a ridiculous performance.

Waiting for one of their lads to fall over in terms bud nowhere near anyone for a penalty

Tensions always run high after a red card. Sounds like our physio didn't appreciate MacDonald's approach... whether he was having a go or checking if Mellor was OK we don't know but that seems to have been the spark.

with Oldham beating Stevenage it means Port Vale have to due their duty and let us win - so we can all get Stevenage relegated...

Even game at Field Mill. Mansfield scored a really soft goal and we’ve got a lot of work to do.

Blimey this Bradford team are a dirty lot. non-stop fouling
I wish we were a dirty side because we're one of the softest sides in the country.

That said we've been dreadful and should be one behind at least.

I don’t think it’s reckless though and he clearly wins the ball.

Anyway… Expect some antics from us second half as we fight to keep hold of all the points!

Dale keeper having a good game. Our usual defensive cock ups have given them a sniff.

Could go either way.

We’re the better side but Scunthorpe look fairly decent, surprisingly. Matty Stevens limping off is a worry.

Best we can hope for is a scrappy goal in second half. Some reasonable build up play, but lacking any quality in front of goal. Stevens off injured. Hard to predict this one.

Interesting to see how hit affects the second half. If this had been earlier in the season it wouldn't have affected it at all. We couldn't score for toffee and Tranmere's super-formidable defence certainly wouldn't have struggled to keep us out.

Looking at recent form it looks like Tranmere aren't quite as impossible to score past and we have a totally new forward line that has scored in 7 of the last 8 games.

25 seconds into the second half and we're 1-0 up. Completely undeserved haha.

EDIT: All over, plenty of yellow cards but no further red. Chance for us to get back into it because it doesn't sound as though we've been out of it.

We are having enough of the ball, but we are useless with it. It doesn’t help having Mellish in midfield gifting possession away. 0 shots on target. Poor.

There were 2 or 3 fouls on Rovers players which most officials would have given yellows and the ref let go totally. Think he must share some responsibility for creating an environment in which Macdonald made that challenge. Couldn’t tell at the time or with the footage above what the correct decision was.

Really poor goal to concede. Rovers to win it now.

1-1 Patrick.

Hopefully can press for the win now. Scoring early in the second half should take the wind out of Tranmere while there's plenty of game left.

Tranmere I imagine will start to press for the win, I don't think a point is much use to them. There may be gaps we can exploit but we have to be careful we don't leave gaps of our own.
