It frustrates me why it should be inevitable, apparently Ferguson and Molyneux are both off to fucking Harrogate. What do they have over us except a sugar daddy. If they move to a higher league with more money, fine, good luck to them but why can't we compete? We've had cup runs, one of the best supported clubs in the league this season with all gate money etc. A million from the EFL, brand new stadium sponsor and they've put in a few 100 k etc etc

It all boils down to one man and that is Raj Singh. He is basically the Mike Ashley of L2. Offer them what they want and revise the budget accordingly. We will not get better than them at this level. It's clear what we're offering isn't close to what they can get elsewhere.

Perhaps it just my pessimistic outlook regarding them three, maybe they’ll all stay, one thing is certain though we’re in a lot better standing heading into the new season than we were last, we’re a better proposition for players looking to stay on and for others to come to.

Crawford signing on early is a good start, really flourished this season, would like to see a few others sign deals before the season is out.

Yep it's good to see the club looking at it early rather than the fag end as per. If we lose all three mind it would be really poor, one you could expect but if you took that now, two of them stay who would it be? I can't choose, all three along with Sterry and Featherstone are such key players.

Crawford I'm glad is staying, regular football under Lee and you can see the range of passing he's got. Featherstone's successor for me, don't want him in the box too much.

I'd keep Odusina and Molyneux over Ferguson, they'd probably both command a higher value if we were looking to sell them on in the future than Ferguson would, I just get a bad feeling that Odusina is gonna move back down South, end up at Orient or some other London based club next season.

Very entertaining game at Vale Park yesterday. First 15 from Vale was the best spell I’ve seen from any team this season and I thought it was going to be 4 or 5. But credit our lads, under Shez we don’t give up and if we’re going down, we’re going down swinging.

Think Vale edged it but I stand by the fact it should have been 10 v 11 second half and who knows how it would have played out from there.

Play like that in the rest of our games and we’ll stay up.

I don’t think you will have any issues if you keep the standards of yesterday up. Said it yesterday but since we’ve been down here that’s the best L2 game I’ve seen in terms of having a bit of everything. Of all the teams down the bottom end of the table you’re far better than the others from what I’ve seen. Garrity shouldn’t have dived in like he did regardless of contact, overall he was just looking far too eager to impress against his old team and if it wasn’t for Worralls injury he may have found himself subbed.

Is Bahamboula injured for Oldham by the way? Would have thought he’d be the difference maker for you guys.

If you’re going into a tackle studs up with both feet off the ground then it’s a red every day if the week.

It was one footed and he got the ball and the Oldham player play acted. Garrity was also fouled before the tackle. In todays mardarse football some refs would have sent Garrity off but almost all would also have given the first foul on him before it.
Oldham played well and should stay up, we were tired after our extra midweek game and ground out a great win in the end.

Don’t think anyone’s said it was two footed but both feet were off the floor which means he’s not in control. That, the speed at which he enters the challenge and the fact his leading foot is off the ground makes it a red card offence in my book

Was a very entertaining game. Yeah thought Garrity was pretty quiet but he’s clearly had an impact at your place. Bahamboula has been rubbish for weeks now so was dropped. Trouble is he doesn’t work as hard as everyone else and Shez’s team has been built on everyone putting a shift in. I do agree I think on that wide pitch he could have had an impact last 20

Much better. Borderline for me. I don't think it's a red but it's definitely close. Stupid if anything. Wasn't as bad as the Tranmere one, put it that way. The theatrics after were a disgrace though. Rolling round screaming like a little girl, Vale player rightly drags him back up onto his feet, only for him to squeeze his way back through the crowd of players, to then throw himself back down on the same spot and continue with the theatrical attempt to get the red. Pathetic.

Easter miracle when he was back on his feet moving like a baby kangaroo seconds later.

Besides that, Oldham were decent and it was a throughly enjoyable game. Glad to see a side turn up and try and play some football and attempt to win the game. We edged the game and deserved to win but you could tell we'd played on Tuesday as we were dead on our feet last 10 minutes. Defended really well though and dug in, which is a sure fire sign of a promotion team.

Best fans at VP all season by a country mile and not a chance you go down. Barrow are gone for me as Evans will scrape enough together for Stevenage.

Oldham need 3 or 4 points to be sure of staying up, they have players putting the effort in and can score goals. We're like a corpse waiting to be lowered into the grave.

I notice that Breakspear issued another seven yellows plus a red at Colchester yesterday.

How these incompetent officials don't get investigated and struck off is beyond me.

As have said before if it’s given a red Garrity certainly couldn’t have complained. I think what caused it rather than any malice was either his first touch was really poor or the fact we had spent a long time watering the pitch before both halves caused the ball to zip away from him and then he foolishly lunged after it.

No arguments with the red card of Norris, surely. He didn't even look back at the ref

Mental how Matty Longstaff in Mansfield midfield is paid more weekly than our entire starting 11, what a sad time it is for this club

I was thinking more of the seven yellows, which seems to be about par for the course with him. It is clear he does not know how to manage a game.

must say ive never seen a player dive twice on the same incident before.

the death twitch thing he was doing was one of the most silly things ive ever seen on a football pitch.

it's one of those classic yellow and a half tackles. soft yellow or harsh red.

In the last 7 games he’s officiated, 38 yellows and 5 reds have been issued.

That’s what saves Garrity I think, he milked it that much it was obvious he was feigning any injury… that then caused the Paddock to be incensed and probably pushed the referee’s thoughts on it.

It was pretty bad taste to be honest, as you say similar tackle on our lad by Hart and we just got on with it.

Then he scored and runs up to the Paddock celebrating and goading the fans which come full time looked a little silly.

Did make me chuckle though as the Paddock chanted W***er! W***er!” When he feigned a horrific injury a bloke behind me, must have been 70 plus chanting that!

All good fun though, atmosphere is so much better with an away following which is extremely rare at this level at our place.
