Welcome back to Wycombe and Rotherham, sure both teams will be challenging the top 6 next season.

Also welcome to Sheff wed, nice big ground to visit next season (hopefully), sulrley they should be looking at bouncing back at the 1st attempt

cheers. Dunno about Top 6 but I’d be disappointed with anything less than top half.

Not sure who I want up from the playoffs, all decent sides who we’ve played many times before. Obviously a 93rd minute Ellison winner v Morecambe in the final would be hilarious.

Must be gutting for Rotherham, they were staying up until the 88th minute. But yeah welcome back all.

Looking forward to a trip to Hillsboro if it’s allowed for fans. Last time out we won 3-0 on Boxing Day in the championship. Rare moment of joy..
I expect Rotherham to do well if warne stays, although from his press conference I am not so sure. He seems a broken man. Very sad to see.
Lot of work to do for Wednesday to bounce back, but you never know.
Wycombe gave it a right go, fair play to them. Showed a lot of fight.
Fucked my acca up today..but hey ho.

Is that the third consecutive 'up and down' by Rotherham?

Obviously I'm hoping we'll not be around but the potential of Wednesday, Ipswich, Charlton, Portsmouth and Sunderland in L1 next season is crazy really.

welcome Wednesday, Wycombe and Rotherham. I do feel feel for the millers it looked like they were staying up then conceded late. They had plenty of chances to put that game to bed also. I expect all 3 to be challenging next season.

Rotherham should give it a rest for a few years now, beyond ridiculous to keep getting relegated.

Fixed that for ya. Wednesday might pretend they've never been at this level before but don't let them fool you.

Gotta feel for the Wycombe fans, achieving such a historic promotion and then spending the whole season playing behind closed doors.

Definitely disappointing, but obviously so many people have had much worse consequences from COVID, so it’s all relative.

Whilst I didn’t think I’d ever see us play in the Championship, we had actually played most of the sides before, I think there was only 2 or 3 we’d never played (definitely Derby and Blackburn).

Also I watched more games this season than I ever have done since they were all on the club streaming service - so not all bad. It was rare that we got shat upon (though it happened), but we had a real goalscoring problem in the first half of the season which didn’t help.

It could yet be Derby and not Wycombe albeit any points deductions would probably be held over to next season which I don't think it should be as this is on appeal. And would be a proper punishment.
I thought points deductions were only held over to next season if they would have no impact on the current season.

Macclesfield were deducted enough points to relegate them last season after the season had already finished (albeit in unusual circumstances)

whatever happens, I hope we stay well out of this discussion and let the EFL do what they have to do, it's none of our business.

The Sun is reporting that our owner (himself a lawyer) said "we're looking into the case" and have spun that like we're pushing for Derby to get relegated.

Obviously that's clickbait bullshit, but from a purely footballing perspective, we're down on merit and it looks embarrassing to try and manipulate some completely unrelated issue just to save your own skin. So like I say, we need to steer well clear.

Nothing will happen other than a small fine I reckon. Considering this decision has been referred to the same committee that originally found Derby did no wrong.

And rightly, we're not stirring the pot here, and we'll just be letting things take their course - it's nothing to do with us really.

I know it’s juvenile but there is something humorous about forest green v Sunderland if the former comes up and the latter fluffs the play offs.
Such a mismatch of club sizes. Like when we was in the championship playing Newcastle and villa.

Yes but that would mean we had to deal with Ecotricity FC in League One and fuck that - it's taken us 4 years to get back ahead of the gits without them following on our coat tails.

I mean Fleetwood are already here, not a lot in it between the two of them.
