We will probably be heading downstairs. But enjoy your time here.

(From league 1’s longest serving club)

Cheers, actually hope you can still stay up, been and done Fleetwood enough times. Could make a weekend of it in the Medway towns.

Us in the same league as Derby eh, who'd have thought it.

This will be our eighth season in league 1 so we are ( currently ) just behind you.. A fantastic achievement considering the number of 'massive' former premier/division 1clubs who have graced this league over the years

Thanks for Stubbs, a great player. Will probably play at a higher level.

Working with a bloke who's a Peterborough fan(was a Lincoln fan until 5 years ago!) we've taken great delight in winding him up all season after shit he was giving out after their promotion.

Mackems slogging up Spring Hill to our bus stop away end contemplating how far they've fallen.

Sunderland have been here before for a pre season friendly. Niall Quinn was their interim manager at the time. I went to that game and I remember Les Afful giving Stephen Wright a tough time and Gary Owers bringing himself on against his old club.

Welcome all newcomers. I guess we're now "established" at this level after five seasons.

Posh were as bitter as fuck when we got promoted to the championship because of us qualifying for the playoffs on points per game (a majority of L1 clubs voted for this way of ending the season but never mind eh, obvs it was our fault).

They said we’d be the worst Championship side evvvvahhh, etc etc, when we made it up.

And yeah, we weren’t great, fair enough. But we got 43 points and only missed out on survival by 1 point (whatever the merits of Derby staying up by shifting their points deduction to the following season).

And now, best case, Posh can make…37 points. Laughing right atcha, gents.

Around 1200. It’s mainly a pretty basic open terrace though.

PS how would one get there via train if possible?
You can’t really unless you like to spend a very long time on a bus. Car or coach is the best option, but you’d still have a very fair walk.

Train to Stroud, no 63 bus runs regularly stops outside our ground so no need to walk up the hill. Takes about 25-30 mins on the bus.

There’s also a park and ride service running from Renishaws.

Depends what you mean by a fair walk. If you come by car there’s street parking right near the ground, (can be limited but I normally find a space) the primary school next to the ground (first come first served) and sometimes the field across the road. Plus park and ride service. There’s coach parking in the club car park.

Obviously if you’re bussing it and want a few pints at any of the pubs in Nailsworth first you’ve got a fair walk up the hill.

I was basically considering that Wednesday brought over 3,000 to us the other week. How would your ground cope? (Similar distance etc)
