You won’t say that when you’ve been.
I’ve been several times, love a traditional football ground. Fish and chips on the pier and a walk along the beach ain’t bad either.

Stockport County.
Congratulations Grimsby, pleased for them, proper club and from the bits I've seen, have had a hell of play-off run with comebacks/late goals etc.

Looking forward to reacquainting my guts to the delights of the Costa del Cleethorpes! Jumbo haddock, chips ,peas and gravy from the Ocean fish bar. Followed by 6 or 7 pints in the No2. Great stuff.

Well in Grimsby. By far the toughest route to promotion and a brilliant achievement.

Seen they were only ahead for 11 minutes in total in all of their 3 games and 9 of those were today. Some going that!

Well done to Grimsby.

Watched the game and thought you deserved the win and after the other play off games you had to go through no one can say you didn't earn it.

An old boy of Thomas Bennett Community School, Crawley will always be welcome in Grimsby from now on. Good dummy from Maguire-Drew for the first and Jordan on the spot for the second.

Welcome Grimsby for getting out of La Bastarda (Copyright of @Gandermonium* on twitter). Bounce back at the first attempt is pretty damn good given how difficult it is to get out of. You have a long EFL history, it would be good if you don't return there.

Welcome back Grimsby! Feel free to take up one of the relegation spots next season though, as I reckon we're probably in for another dogfight.

There isn’t any standout side who screams relegation to me, though sadly as you point out, barrow look decent candidates.

Depends what brown is upto in the summer i suppose

you mean wether he gets another EFL 2 job in the summer?
*As he's not with us any more we now have the "highly rated" former Halifax manager Pete Wild.

I think we'll be improved on last season, but a lot will hinge on how good any new strikers and centre backs turn out to be. We'll most likely be in the mix of about 7/8 teams down the bottom end.

As far as basketcases go to bail us out again, only Crawley really have that potential this season so we probably can't rely on that to keep us up.

Hi again guys, I didn't really expect to be back on this forum so soon and haven't even seen who are in Division 4 with us next season.

Really great run in the Play-Offs, extra time in all three (and obviously away from home in each). No idea if we'll keep the better players, hope so. It was a team effort with one or two outstanding performances in each game seeing us through.

Time for me to take stock and see where you all are these days!

We’ve got them away in the County Cup, some Lincs FA blazers must have wanted a day out.

Do we have any Grimsby fans left on here or did they all migrate over to that other forum?
