Does anyone think MK will one day drop the "Don" and lose any connection to Wimbledon altogether?

Could Wimbledon drop the AFC bit and become Wimbledon FC again? (Providing the above happened)

No wonder Millwall fans are hated. You never play by the rules.

I doubt it.

I'd be against it. I like the media referring to us as Wimbledon, but to get rid of the prefix would brush the whole MK debacle under the carpet. I'm proud of what we've done in the last 14 years and a day and the name underlines that. I don't see us as the same club anyway, more like the natural heirs ie the king is dead, long live the new king.

Regarding 'that game', we obviously had contingency arrangements in place when we drew them in the FA Cup and might have had a replay. From memory, it involved a reduced capacity for both sets of fans. In the FA Cup that might've been okay as you just don't sell tickets, but when your ground has a large % of season ticket holders it might be more problematic for a league fixture if we have to reduce capacity below the number of season ticket holders we have. Could all be a bit of a headache to organise.

Afternoon all, don't think it will sink in that we are in League 1 until the fixtures are out.

I don't think you can fully enjoy the playoff final until you have won as you are just a bundle of nerves.

A lot has been said that Plymouth didn't perform on Monday but I would suggest that is more down to our tactical approach. Neal Ardley is tactically excellent and he finally put together a team that could take on the tactical knowledge and also change tactics during a game if needed.

I feel these strengths will be vital for us next season to secure our place in League 1. For me it's all about surviving in League 1 until we move back home and then we can kick on once we can generate more revenue.

I too think staying in League 1 next season should be our main focus, there are 46 games, to be played, not just 2 against some team up the road.

I got fed up with all the talk about franchise during the build up and whenever I was asked I quickly said to them it is not about them and I don't want them getting publicity on the back of our achievements.

They are embarrassed about us being in thier league as the silence from them has been deafening. Maybe they have realised that every time they try and spin the truth, the proper journalists ask questions or find facts that contradict the rubbish they have said previously.

I will look forward to the home game against them as we have been to thier place
3 times now and it has been uncomfortable on every occasion, so this is a chance for us to really make them realise how hated they are by us.

Anyway, as you say they are 2 games of a 46 game season and hopefully we will go up with the motivation and confidence of the playoff victory, to help us when we naturally hit some rocks over Xmas.

To see what Burton have done, gives teams of our resources hope and if we could do half as well as they did last season I would bite you arm off now.

Well, this is unexpected. Hello.

Genuinely no idea how long we'll be here for. Need at least a keeper, a midfield animal, a couple of wide players and a striker in order to stay around but we should be solid enough at the back to not roll over easily.

Will be good to see Paul Robinson come back, no doubt he'll get a good welcome.

Well hello! Not sure we are fully ready to be in the heady heights of League 1, but I appreciate the chance of adventure!

Shocking away end, can hardly see half the pitch, but by all means go to chalk it off your list.

You will soon moan about the terrace and ploughed pitch.

Fair play to them though, its a great achievement, and we never lost to them so 6 points next season banked ;)

It's okay, there is a pound a go strip bar just round the corner ;-)
