Hull would be mad to part with Bruce, when he got you up last time didn't your top scoring player only have 7 goals or something like that? Defence alone can get you out.

Think you're right. Cardiff won the league that year, and they too didn't have a single player in double figures for goals. Whilst it shows the '20 goal a season' striker isn't always absolutely essential for promotion, I think that particular season was something of an anomaly..

Very interested to see what sort of state Hull are in heading into 2015/16. Of the relegated sides you'd probably say they're best equipped for an immediate return but I've no idea what the summer holds for them.

Realistically who do they have that you would want to can and lure away from them? If I was one of the teams 11th and below or going up then Elomohamidy would be someone I would look into signing, nothing flashy about him but solid enough, also think Macgregor is a good keeper but seems to have had injury troubles.

Chester, Robertson, Dawson, Elmohamady, Brady, N'Doye and Jelavic would all be decent signings for midtable sides. Snodgrass and Diame too, but they're injured. N'Doye and Jela will definitely be off, and clubs are already sniffing around Chester, Robbo, Elmo and Brady. We've got a team that would easily challenge next season, it just depends on whether or not we can keep hold of the players.

Bruce wanting to keep Ince for the Championship? We're very much interested so expect a few bids in the not so distant future.
