Back in League 2 again for us. Won't be here long as we will be out into the conference after a few years. Suppose it's our time really, a lot of similar sized clubs have had their turn.

Will be nice to reacquaint ourselves with our fishy neighbours and most likely lose derbys as we always do.

Apologies if you guys were looking for a nicer away day to come down, we don't offer much but good links to the motorway

What's happened? 3 consecutive play-off finishes to this? That's a hell of a collapse, especially given Swann is backing the club so heavily. Can't imagine many outside of maybe Grimsby are happy to see you down here. You'll probably have a strong bounce back season in 19-20 like you did in 13-14, which isn't good news for any promotion contenders and as you say, this isn't a great away day, at all.

On a personal level, we always lose here as well. Not good.

It was 2 consecutive play-off places and it's down to not taking our opportunities really. We were top of the league at the end of Jan the other year and Graham Alexander fucked it all up. Should've gone up that year, we were cheated a little bit by Bolton not getting a transfer ban but we still should've done it. We sold all of our good players at the end of this year as they understandably wanted to go to better clubs. Swann cut the budget a lot as we were overspending under Alexander and got nothing for it.

We won't be a threat next season at all.

Really? Swann doesn't strike me as that type of owner. Ok, maybe he won't fund to the same extent that he was, but will he really not push for an immediate return to L1?

He might put some money in but we need a manager who can get the best out of the players we sign. No clue who our manager is gonna be.

He can get pissed of quite easily although to his credit, he's the type who'll leave enough money in the Club to cover all existing contracts if he ever left and not leave it completely in the shit.

He's charging interest on the money he's putting into Scunny I think?

I know I failed A Level maths but surely you can still stay up, and you have one massive game to win next weekend...

We technically can but I can guarantee we are not going too.

Not only do we have to rely on a couple of results going our way, we have to win a game. The fact we lost to already relegated Bradford today confirmed our relegation.

Unusual one this, both Scunny and Bradford looked like they were edging closer year on year to push up the leagues but have had a big slide the last 24 months or so.

Two decent clubs though.

I for one am pleased Scunny are down with us. Been jealous of their success for too many years now. Put us to shame behind the scenes and on the pitch too.

They have been well run and had a few good players playing some decent stuff until this season. I have no real malice against them, just local rivalry I suppose.

Argiggle are in turmoil after sacking dreary Derek. If you can't at least get a point you truly deserve eternal damnation.

We just lost to already relegated Bradford, we are in turmoil as well. I will be surprised if we dont lose by 4 or 5.
