So, we'll be back in League 2 next year. Been a while. What can we expect from the league? Whose top dogs?

All I can vouch for is Mansfield having a top three budget but never actually finishing in the top three.

Luckily for you we have replaced the bog roll in the away toilets, major upgrade since our last meeting.

We tried to pay the players with said bog roll but the fuckers took us to court. I hear you guys need to try something similar, having no cash an all.

When we played you a month ago, you looked like a side on the way down.

I'm still not sure what planet Ron Martin is on, its been nearly a month since Bond left and he is just dithering.

I'm sure both of our young bit shot wannabe fans will enjoy playing each other next season in a league game, if it happens. Hate going to Roots Hall tbh, just get in early watch the game and get out and avoid all the idiocy.

If you are in league 2 next year, it is vital we are promoted this year.

Hellish trip for Devonians. Hope we aren't down here to experience it!

I quite liked Roots Hall even though the two times I’ve been we’ve played absolute dogshit.
In the home end both times too, first time my Dad’s mate was mates with Gary Childs so he got us complimentary tickets in one of the side stands when Ronnie Whelan was Southend player manager, then the second time I used to have a mate who lived in Great Wakering so I arranged to go see him when Southend were playing Grimsby, it was a Tuesday night and Southend won 1-0 with a late winner so I just sat there sulking while everyone around me was celebrating. :bg:

Definitely a better destination than Colchester. If we are playing you next season I will look forward to it.

You will unload players in jan in readiness for your relegation I know of one player of yours who’s agent is looking for a move in January for his player

Sol not working his miracles?

Already made a notable difference in terms of application and can see they are getting fitter but his miracles don't stretch to this lot completely giving up when conceding the first goal.

Let's bloody hope so, I'd get rid of 90% of this squad and most of them it is not because of football ability. Sadly that many won't go but I expect a marked up turn when Sol gets a few of his own signings/loanees in. As I've said before 80% of this squad are actually out of contract come June so next season we get a pretty much fresh start in League Two. Fingers crossed Sol stays to see what he can do.

You might not. Be happy with this one leaving it’s one of your better players

Only regulars I'd be disappointed to lose are Elvis Bwomono and Tom Hopper, that's it. Bwomono is the only one out of contract in the summer I'd give a new contract to.
Only other players I'd keep are Kelman, Hutchinson and the currently long term injured Barrett, Gard and Kyprianou.

The rest of these so called 'better professionals' have been nothing short of a disgrace and if they behave anything like they have here at another club then I pity whoever takes them on.
