Might have to pay a truckload for them though of course. But at least they can try and get them before bigger clubs come in and start fucking about with shit offers.

Let's keep Benteke and play to his strengths. We liked him for a reason. Strong in the air, target man who would allow us to retain possession further up the field. He also knows where the net is.
West Ham need a couple of players in order to cope with their european commitments next season. But the names they're after aren't going to drastically improve them. It would be best for them to keep their powder dry until someone special comes along.

I still prefer Carroll as a rotational or bench option, Valencia ain't much cop, and Sakho when fit and head right is great - but his season was a pale imitation of last year.

Given that we don't need to raise cash by selling anyone, and that we already have Afobe/King, it's no gamble for us to wait and give Wilson the time.

Kinda, but if there's a solid offer on the table then you're gambling. You need to gamble on wether or not he'll exceed that value and if he's worth chancing on coming good when you could take cash and go with someone else.
