Erm, dislocated my patella in year 11, full leg cast for 3 months, that was fun

You mean in the 5th year of secondary school when you were 16?

Appendicitis, not as bad as others though. Mine hasn't exploded yet but has badly flared up a couple of times. Spent about 24 hours in the hospital the first time, doctors kept wanting to monitor me but they blatantly weren't gonna do any surgery so I discharged myself and walked out like a right bellend hunched over cause I couldn't stand up straight

Realised after they would've probably gave me some antibiotics but ah well I was back to full fitness in about a week. Second time wasn't quite as bad or maybe I'd just got used to the pain so I didn't bother getting any medical help.

Haven't played football in a year cause my groin is done in. Went to a physio about 6 months ago but it was no benefit so didn't go again. Anyone got any advice on a groin injury? I gave up on trying to sort it after that.

Yes, what else would I mean?

You are obviously much younger than me, we didn't have all that year 11 crap when I was at school, neither did we have proms, and principals were called Head Teachers.

Yes yes thanks for asking lads, when i was sort of half dead i remember seeing a white light and felt all warm and safe.........the light seemed to grow and then fade. I guess i was about to die but luckily saved just in time.

There is definitely something when you die i can tell you that....... i felt i was heading there and it looked and felt peaceful. With all my detailed research into this flat earth lark i have found myself becoming more and more spiritual.

I kind of understand why people are religious.............i think i may too as i find out more.

peace my friends peace.

My advice would be to take an expert's advice and to not give up.

Doesn't seem like that will happen though.

They changed the numbers of years while I was in school back in the early 90s. Or they did at the schools I was in.

Before the internet. Imagine that.

In the late 80s I went to a primary school that was still teaching pre-decimalisation currency. Education has improved so much since then.

I tore my lateral collateral knee ligament a few years ago. Six weeks on crutches, a few months without any exercise and nearly a year before I was fully recovered. Luckily I did make a complete recovery so it could have been a lot worse, but it's still not an experience that I'd like to repeat.

Most painful injury was a twisted bollock when I used to play rugby, I was running and I felt a knacker get caught up in something and the next thing I knew I was in agony. Went to A&E to get the tackle checked out by which time my gonad had swollen to the size of a tennis ball. Once the quack had untangled everything, it took a week for the swelling to go and normal service to be resumed.

Biggest operation I had was my knee replacement after two snapped ACLs and a dislocated knee that finally finished my rugby career. Wasn't some much painful as inconvenient, two weeks off work, but not being able to drive for six weeks.

It wasn't all that bad then, at least you had to give up rugby:ohy:
