Anyone got any idea, or seen a proposal/date/plan/announcement/anything?
The latest I've heard is that the NL votes have to be in by 6pm on Tuesday;- so at present the announcement is due late Tuesday or early Wednesday if the vote goes through.

And it's Barrow AFC not Barrow FC FFS....

The NL are busy pissing off York atm. When they've finished they'll get back to everyone with a final table and promotion etc.

Would be pretty poor if they don't relegate properly when the EFL has agreed to relegate Stevenage and promote 2 though.

Not often i like an FGR post - but Fylde and Ebbsfleet* have to go down.

*Ebbsfleet might end up winning the AGM cup and staying up though IF Macclesfield end up getting relegated from the EFL and put in NLN as Boston did when they came out of the EFL.

Ah yes the AGM cup. Brings back fond memories.

Bet NL fans are overjoyed at getting an away day at King's Lynn instead of York....

I've done Kings Lynn away before - the old Kings Lynn club and it's miles from anywhere (a bit like us really), but if there's any justice York will get up IF the NLN and NLS play offs happen.

The only downside to an away day at Barrow is that its a ball ache to get to and from, you have to get that 17.15 train back to Lancaster if you're heading back south or you're getting home very late! :ohn:

If Evatt adds 4/5 more experienced players I see no reason why Barrow can't finish mid table in their first season back here.

Well the voting papers didn't go out yesterday, the votes delayed, it's all kicking off over the are NLN/NLS "Elite" leagues and as the National League hasn't made a comment nobody knows what the hell is going on... so time for the EFL/FA to intervene and just invite us to be members and give the NL a Friday deadline ultimatum to sort the mess out or there will be no 2nd promotion place this season or ever....

Classic Conference shenanigans. I bet the voting papers were being printed out at someone's house and they didn't have any toner.

We'll they must have managed to get some as I've seen a copy of the voting papers today. Just take the cost out of the petty cash.

They're just having a bit of a hard time getting people to vote because usually they provide tea/coffee and a bit of Battenberg cake or similar at NL events and due to social distancing aren't able to do that this time.

I’m glad they’re pissing York off, keep it up.

After beating Mansfield in the playoffs they were happy stating that they’d never play Mansfield again .

Well in the conference north, you’ve got your wish lads

I don’t miss the conference at all.

Like when they docked us 4 points as we played an ineligible player apparently.

They claimed they hadn’t received the fax and even when our chairman at the time (before radford) went down to the conference HQ (presumably in a shed in Halifax or somewhere obscure) and presented then with the fax receipt they still refused.

Comical at best

I’ve very fond memories of playing barrow
we are obviously better this season than we have been for more than 48 years... well since we finished 8th in the old Division 3 in 1967/68 probably.

Well I'd vote for Barrow and harrogate to be promoted. Dont bother with the play offs and relegate the current bottom 4

I’d vote for no one to be promoted and to run a 22 team League 2 next season. But then that’s just me.

Said it in the NL forum but it's hypocritical of the NLN Clubs to now suddenly kick up a fuss about the PO's when only a few weeks ago they weren't interested in having them.

It's nice to be reminded that the conference is always on point when it comes to being tinpot.
