I will answer this in 2 1/2 weeks.

We've got games coming up against Daggers H, Newport A and Yeovil H. We really should be getting 7 points, But with our away form being quite good we could get 3 at Newport aswell.

As I've been banging on about for about 8 weeks now we've still not beaten a side in the top 12 all season. That's got to change and after the next 3 we have Northampton and Pompey at home and Brizzle Rovers and Wycombe away. Those 4 games will decide it for us I think.

Still though, Even as we currently sit 7th and it's very tight in there I'd be over the moon with 10th at the end of the season. It's progression and it will be our highest finish for years.

6th. Form not fantastic since Christmas, but doing just enough to maintain a playoff place.

If we win Saturday against Oxford, going to stick my neck out and say 3rd isnt completely beyond us..... Just almost beyond us :D

At the start of the season I predicted 16th.
As of this weekend we are ... 16th.
I'm not unhappy about that as we looked in danger of going into freefall, so am happy to take pretty much anything that doesn't involve a second consecutive relegation.

I don't really mind where we finish now. We don't have a big budget. Yet we've had a decent season. The only thing I'm disappointed about is not doing well in any cup.

Now second in the home table, second bottom in the away table so midtable looking very likely

I'd take third bottom, please.

I've just checked the league table for the first time in a few months, and based on the games I have seen this season, I am very shocked by the positioning of some teams!

Northampton (1st) - 11 points clear of second.. REALLY??
Bristol Rovers (6th) - Can't believe there are 5 teams better than them in this league.
Carlilse (11th) - Surprised they are not in the play offs
Cambridge (12th) - I can't believe there are 12 teams worse in this league

Oh, and..
Hartlepool (22nd) - I can't believe there are 2 teams worse in this league

Yep, I can't believe there are 12 teams worse than us either. When we're poor, we are really bad to the point we can't/won't string two passes together.

The fact we're that close to the play offs shows how poor every other team is.

I counted up our good performances this season and reached 5:
Wimbledon (a) W2-1
Northampton (h) W2-1
Morecambe (a) W4-2
Plymouth (a) W2-1
Leyton Orient (a) W2-1

Some Cambridge fans think we played ok against Wycombe and though we were solid, we weren't what I would define as "good". Likewise in our wins v Dagenham, Yeovil, Notts County, Newport etc. We shouldn't be that close to the play offs given our performances this season.

I have to agree - and even at Wimbledon/Kingston it was a storming start to the second half and solid finish that rescued a flat first half (similar but more extreme for the draw at York). To add to that, at least 3 of those wins and, admittedly excellent, performances were contributed to by off days (or halves) from the opposition players or their manager: Wimbledon - renowned team of two halves until recently; Plymouth - short of players outside first choice 12 or 13; Orient fielded some (poorer than?) Conference standard players from front to back.

Where did those 50 points come from? Thanks largely to a combination of idiot owners appointing less than competent managers and struggling managers making some strange tactical and selection decisions.

Had us pegged for automatic promotion when the season started, but we've stumbled a bit more than I would have thought.

Still think we are one of the stronger teams in the league, and if we can just get our shit together and continue to play anything like we did against 'Pool, I think we should be able to move up the table and maybe, just maybe, snag that #3 spot.
