I think I speak for all Daggers when I say they'd pay extra to see them two deported somewhere.

Ben Chorley, Johnny Ertl, Nicky Shorey and Danny Hollands all need to do one.

Probably one of the best things about this season as a Wycombe fan is I can honestly say, no-one.

Yes, there are players who rarely play, but we have one of the smallest squads out there and if we had any real dead wood, it'd be pretty obvious.

David Flitcroft. I genuinely believe we'd be top if we had a half competent manager.

Ashley Vincent. Mellons first signing I think but I have absolutely no idea why we signed him as he's barely played.

I don't think there's anyone at the club we could accuse of stealing a wage. I suspect Simon Walton is earning more than he merits based on his performances this season so is probably the closest to making the list.

We've seen very little of Calvin Zola and Adam Marriott as both have been unavailable due to injury. Have to say Marriott has impressed when he's played, it's just a shame he's barely featured, looks like he'd be a real asset if he could stay fit.

If you'd asked me last year I'd probably still be typing now!

We have a large squad full of high earners for this level.

So A LOT of them are stealing a wage.

The biggest culprit is probably Billy Paynter.

He ain't stealing a wage.

If he hadn't had done the following we would have won this division

A) Sacked off beast to replace him with two dross goalkeepers in Lainton and Jalal
B) Admitted he dropped a bollock by rotating those two then replace them with Scott Loach, fuck knows how he got a call up to the England squad
C) Didn't play Hussey for months whilst McNulty was playing below par

If we don't go up he is at fault, no excuses.

Nicky Shorey - legs are gone.
Johnny Ertl - absolute gash.
Ben Chorley - not good enough.
Danny East - injury prone.
Tom Craddock - been injured 99.9% of his 2 seasons with us. Scored 1 goal.

I think all of the above are out of contract in the summer excluding Ertl who we gave a 3 year deal too. #worstdecisionever

FFS - are Bury fans ever happy?
You're 4th in a 24 team league!! Be happy. No one has a good given right to win a division.

The arrogance is astounding!
No, it's not arrogance. We were top before our slump in form, a slump in form which was entirely down to Flitcrofts needless chopping and changing, ridiculous loan singings (Loach lost us 2 games on his own) and stupid substitutions aswel as suicidal away tactics (Shrewsbury he decided to play Danny Mayor as a left back!).

Even on Monday against Morecambe we were completely dominating, but he decides to bring the strikers off, instead of extending our 1-0 lead (at home may I add). We then lost 2-1.

We were top before Flitcrofts meltdown and we would be top if you took the form of the games after his meltdown (game number 20).

Not arrogance, but he could well of cost us promotion.

Still if's and buts though. I could equally argue that we'd be 10 points better off if we hadn't lost 3 of our best players for large chunks of the season. Our manager has also made tactical/selection errors at times during the season and we had had mini slumps in form so we all have excuses- it's football, and there is no god-given right to promotion!

But players getting injured is not the
same is it.. We've had players get injured too..

You clearly need to have been a Bury fan to fully understand our frustrations with Flitcroft this season.

As a side note, since this slump in form, we've taken 43 points from 20 games, conceding only 8 goals in the process, the notion we could easily be top is fully justified.

You are completely missing the point. We have had hot streaks of form too - I could equally say that if we had continued our form of the last 6 games for an entire season then we would be on maximum points. The same Flitcroft who you say is responsible for the slump in form is also the same guy who is responsible for the 43 points from the last 20 games. For whatever reason, 3 other teams have been more consistent than Bury over the whole season and rightly sit above them in the table at this moment in time - any other excuses are irrelevant.

As an aside, the reason you lost 5-0 at Shrewsbury is not just down to who you played at left back that night - You were outplayed by a better side on the night. Equally, I will be the first to congratulate Bury if they are the better side tomorrow night and beat us!

Moving off the "our players are shit so all of them" theme (which I'd go with as well), for us I'd say Matteo Lanzoni, joined in September, played about 3 games, badly, went out on loan and been back since January and not even been on the bench I don't think, as someone who is not a youth teamer and has come from a higher division he won't be on peanuts either.

Much more to it than that. Alleged punch up in the dressing room, Chris Hussey sleeping with Jim Mcnultys wife. We went on to lose 7 out of 9 games.

The game is not as black and white as you like to paint it. Rumours such as the above are not the reason you are not top of the league.

No put its a big factor in why we lost 5-0 that night. I mean we had Akpa-Akpro last season.. He's crap. Yet he managed a hattrick that night. Our players heads where clearly somewhere else and you took advantage, it wasn't down to your superior skill.

A fairer test will be tomorrow, the players are in the zone, and if you beat us 5-0 again then fair enough. We have conceded 39 goals all season so to concede 5 in 1 night was just a compete blip.

Anyway.........

Ashley Vincent for me. Played half a dozen games at the start of the season and hasn't made the bench in ages. We don't use wingers so he's probably fallen victim to the system more than anything. I could see him doing a job at wingback but we've had Grimmer and Gayle playing superbly there most of the season.

Can't really think of anyone else, perhaps Vernon but that would be harsh.

The list is long and seemingly endless starting with our joke of a manager, his staff and nearly every player he has brought into the club. I truly feel for Mark Palios and his wife who have worked their socks off for our club since taking over and IMO they have been crapped on from a great height by this band of freeloaders.

Akpa-Akro is clearly not crap - he's definitely not prolific but he has been a very important player for us this season and created lots for other players. I think you're being a deliberate WUM now and if we beat you tomorrow I'm sure you've already got the excuses lined up....

(by the way tomorrow night we are missing both Woods and Goldson through suspension and Wesolowski and Knight-Percival through long term injury. If you don;t beat us 5-0 you are shite )

Calvin Zola. Came with a decent reputation but has just got injury after injury after injury and I'd imagine he's on a fairly hefty wage too.
