Stuart McCall, Mr Bradford City street fighter type of footballer how they all should be, a proper West Yorkshire lad even if he pretends to be Scottish. If our current wankers had a tenth of his fight, spirit and ability we'd be gracing this league next season, and he'd still be in a job.

But growing up I used to want to be Lee Mills, a real predator in the season we got promoted to the Premier League.
Big Wednesday fan that lad, he was in the away end with us a couple of times, including your first PL season.

Aye, he was actually on his way to sign for Sheffield United from Port Vale. His agent got a call from us and he went straight up the M1, think it was a case of anyone but them if possible. Sounds thick as mince but great guy and will always be a legend in these parts. He was treated like crap near the end, should have got more of a shot in the prem seen as though he got us there, then we got Carbone and that was it for him, if memory serves me right.

That goal he scored at Hillsborough still makes me laugh, probably cos it ended up 6-2, had that been your winner I may have topped misen

He'd probably claim he meant that.....bet there was a reyt scrap at the post-match buffet with him and Pressman.

For United Tony Currie left the season after I started going so it has to be Alex Sabella.

We had pre-agreed a deal to bring in a 16 year old Diego Maradona but they raised the price slightly at the last minute
So we went for the slightly cheaper option of Alejandro Sabella from River Plate.

Sabella had no pace (nicknamed The Sloth back in Argentina) but he had unbelievable quick feet and amazing skill levels. His pre match ball juggling was very similiar to what the professional free style ball jugglers do these days.
I’d never seen a player in pre match warm ups, juggle the ball and so effortlessly catch it on the back of their neck etc.
Pity he didn’t like cold, windy conditions with muddy pitches, so he sometimes struggled to compete against lower division bruisers.

For QPR it was probably Marc Bircham or Lee Cook. Both boyhood QPR fans and clearly love the club and would do anything for us.

Steven Gerrard was my favourite outside of QPR though. I loved that he came through the Liverpool youth system, then made it into the 11, made captain etc and would be everywhere. Thought he was brilliant and loved that he done it for his boyhood club and his passing ability and shooting power always amazed me.
