Starting to get to the stage where you can look at who's likely to be promoted/relegated so who would you like see in L1 next year?

If we stay in L1 I'd like the following:

From Championship -

Leeds (2 decent games, attendance's)
Millwall (can't stand em; would love to beat them)
Brighton (want to visit their stadium - looks fantastic)

From league 2 -

Wycombe & Portsmouth (local games)
Plymouth (travel there in numbers as do they to Swindon)

I'd like some derby games against Oxford but could never wish promotion on them.

Presuming we stay in the league. Given Gillingham, Colchester, and Crawley are our local games, I would (semi realistically) like to see:

- Millwall
- Charlton
- Brighton

- Wycombe
- Southend
- Cambridge
- Morecambe (always had a soft spot for them, mainly 'cos of the Morecambe guys on TFF when I first joined)

Rotherham - SERNWA's reaction would be great.
Blackpool - One step towards the conference for them.
Leeds - Bless those poor, lovely fans.

Morecambe - Awayday
Cambridge - Awayday
Burton - Awayday
Bury - Local Awayday

Blimey! We would have to get out if that happens! Too many Northern teams here already.
If we are still here...
Millwall- Holloway, nuff said.
Blackpool- Doomed regardless
Crapdiff - Wishful thinking.:box:

Wycombe- Would really piss the gas off
Wimbledon- Obvious why.
Plymouth - Deserve a chance in L1
Oxford - Same as Plymouth

This pretty much suits me, apart from Morecambe! Stick Luton or Burton in there and I'd be happy with that set.

If we are staying here then

Millwall
Brighton
Reading

Luton
Wycombe
Newport
Plymouth

That lot would probably double our average away figures for the season rather than all these bloody northern games. I would love to have a game against the Pox but I could never want the piss stained ones to get promoted.

Why do so many people want Wycombe to come up? It is an awful away day.

Who would I like to see in this league next season? I know it would never happen but Derby, Forest and Rotherham from the Championship (all local teams) and from League 2; Burton (local-ish), York (good awayday), Bury (day out in Manchester) and Wimbledon (day out in London)

I think most who want Wycombe up are fellow City fans TBH. The way our local non league 'rivals' celebrated at Wycombe last season was totally OTT and to see WFC promoted would really drive a dagger into their already struggling heart.
Seems a good thing to me, especially as their new UWE stadium is now totally screwed!!
By the way, if Wycombe come up, try the White Horse pre match, it might change your opinion on Wycombe as an away day. :woot:

To come down to League 1
Blackpool
Leeds
Huddersfield

To come up to League 1
Bury
Burton Albion
Morecombe
Wimbledon

Gone for teams that realistically have a chance of coming up/down. The teams I have chosen are mainly due to distance.

If we stay in League One

Down from the Championship: Blackpool (local awayday, hopefully be at a good time of year) Wigan (local awayday) and Rotherham (smart ground and a good awayday)

Up from League Two: Shrewsbury (nice local awayday for a season before they go straight back down like a yo-yo) Burton (local awayday and Jimmy Floyd was a hero back in the day) Luton (A club who deserve to be at a much higher level than where they are now) and Southend (We love playing against them, playoffs, JPT and all that)

With Bristol City, Swindon, Mk Dons, Crawley, Colchester, Yeovil and Gillingham all exiting the league. That would leave a very tasty looking Northern/Midland looking league. Perfect for us.

Down from Championship: Millwall, Charlton Brighton ideally for the local derbies, plus we don't like 'em anyway. Up from league two: Wycombe, Luton, Southend, Wombles for more local derbies. League one is awful for us for local away games.

Always like new places to go so from league 2 that's only Cambridge and Portsmouth (not likely).
Down from the championship Charlton, Reading and Brighton for their new ground.

Blackpool, Millwall and Rotherham to come down.

Those coming up is interesting;

Burton - Never been.
Shrewsbury - Mate lives up there so that's a weekend. Decent night out too. (Good record)
Wycombe - Always funny seeing them get all upset in a fuming Frannie frenzy.
Newport County - Went to Uni in Newport, would love to get back to Caerleon for a pub crawl.

Anyone else is fine bar Luton and Northampton. Stevenage would be pretty annoying because of Graham.

I'd quite like Wimbledon to come up. Not sure why.

Don't care for the Championship because all realistic options are absolutely dire.

Coming up -
Shrewsbury - Local rivals, just for the away day.
Burton - It's closer from my house to Burton than it is Walsall, fantastic to see them up here. Away day fun.
Northampton - Just because it's quite close by and nothing could be worse than Southend or Plymouth etc.
Wycombe - One of my favourite ever away day moments came against this lot.

Leeds down regardless

Whether in L1 or (somehow) the championship next season id like to play Blackpool and Wigan as they're both in freefall

From L2 I'm not fussed
