I got fed up with my wifi cutting out all the time, bit the bullet and got one of these google mesh networks. expensive but works like a dream

My sister's boyfriend did it, but it's pretty straightforward I believe. You have an app for your smartphone that controls it. We have the twin pack with two nodes that serves our house fine, can even get a signal at the top of my garden
