Robinson, Gelhardt, Williams, Dunkley, Moore & Marshall picked up so far.

Windass likely to leave and i'd be surprised if Lowe, Morsy & Kipre stay.

Looks like we could be getting their (Bolton's) training ground for a relative pittance.

Did they take it off Bolton for peanuts when Bolton went into admin?

Wigan bought it for £2.2m.

Supposedly we're getting it for less than £1m.

I'm hoping it's a stop gap until we build our own in Ingol but wouldn't hold my breath about that one.

Maybe it'll go full circle and we'll sell it back to Bolton for a tidy profit if they ever sort their lives out.

So Wigan have until Monday to save themselves. Looking pretty critical now (without stating the bleeding obvious of course).

Preston are not the buyers.....It is Trevor Hemmings [Preston Owner] will be used as a stop gap until Prestons new training facility is built.

Don't care who owns it as long as we're getting improved facilities, our current training ground isn't good enough for a Championship club.

I'd be amazed if our con man owner ever builds the new facility.

You got a con man owner?

He's a clever businessman (worth about £900m) but he's played a dodgy blinder with the Ingol development and will make a lot of money that he wouldn't have got without the White Elephant training ground.

Can't imagine his son will be too different when he eventually takes over.

Can't knock him during this pandemic though, looked after the club well.

Gone are the days when the local butcher owned clubs, content with skimming the gate money.

No it is 30 acres with 6 football pitches, and a full size indoor covered dome.....State of the art underground heating.

Gyms, spa, swimming pool....Doctors and physio centre......30m thats what you get if you spend a bit of time in the prem

You can have our and Wigans old training ground until Uncle Eddie moves his horses on to them.

Wasn't it your youth team's training ground?

If so, how can it be better than your senior facilities? Even with a nice, £300k dome on one of the pitches.

Methinks someone is talking out of their anus.

Back in 2016, the need for ready cash led to the sale of Bolton’s old training base at Euxton – a luxurious facility which was crafted over many years of top-flight football.

The move to a combined base alongside the academy was headline news at the time, but both sides of the club have now settled and it is Hill’s ambition to try and make Lostock just as appealing as a workplace.

it was a class one Academy which is across the road from the ground....that is why all the facilities are there.
Euxton was where the old first team trained

£350k. Sorry.

All the state of the art stuff you mention was at the training ground you sold, not the one you currently use, which seems little more than some well kept pitches and a changing room.

Maybe have someone help you navigate Google before making incorrect posts.

one 4 star hotel, one conferance centre....office space two banqueting halls a 280000 stadium.......Facilities Preston can but dream off

Cool. Plenty of room to build some good facilities in the future.

Cannot have a go at Preston.....it wont be forgot how they helped the office staff with food etc.

Dont begrudge you having Euxton infact it made me smirk when i knew you was buying it from Wigan

Glad they didn't go bust and all that but it's hard to feel too sorry for Wigan.
