Very difficult game, losing seems the outcome but it would be nice to lose to City's brilliance, not our mistakes.

I thought Wolves were unlucky in defeat against Leicester last week, they appear to have the tools for the job in the Prem. They'll stay up is my forecast. Also, being at home has to give them a little extra edge today.
Man City look like last season never ended, they've just carried on winning with ease. I do hope it is not going to be as easy for them this time around, gets a bit boring if it is all over bar the cups by March...

Honestly I think that it's absurd to watch a football game without the VAR. Ok, it's not perfect yet, but it can help in situation such as the Boly gol.

Wolves looked good, but rode their luck with City hitting the woodwork three times and you can’t not be pissed off at conceding a goal that was both offside and a handball.

Should have taken the chances earlier though.

Bostin' Wolves! I had the radio commentary on, sounds like they rode their luck but that's football so suck it up Citeh. Two points from the first three games against seasoned Prem teams has to be seen as decent for the men in gold.
Man City pinged the woodwork several times, had a brilliant effort from Sterling saved by a potential "save of the season", add to that the Wolves goal was hand ball, they can count themselves unlucky not to have won. Nonetheless, got to take your chances, every top six side will have an afternoon like that this season. Just football bwana....

I'm still not convinced it is going to add to the spectacle for the fan at the match (I can see why people watching on TV like it though). It will probably mean lots of intervals where we are all sitting there wondering what the hell is going on while the video refs ponder the decision.
As for the Boly goal, meh, at least it means Citeh have been pegged back a little to give the rest of us a chance!

The VAR worked well in Serie A and World Cup.
We didn't see too many intervals and it fixed very bad mistakes made by the refs.

It's not perfect yet, there are things which can be modified and the time wasted in the usage is one of them. But I prefer to watch a refs who spend some minutes to fix their decision if it can reduce their own mistakes and their impact on the game.

Honestly, it's very awful watch a gol like that: offside and the ball was hit with the hand. And I'm a Spurs' supporter!

Wolves had 4 or 5 very good chances and could have easily come away with 3 points. All City’s woodwork efforts were pot shots from outside the box and not chances that were well orchestrated and created. Wolves were solid and looked very good on the counter.

Personally, I don’t think the goal was handball. His hand doesn’t move to the ball and doesn’t look to be in an unnatural position, it takes a slight touch off his head.

You have good taste my friend! COYS VAR is coming whether I like it or not, so you will get your wish. In the Premier League they don't replay fouls at the game because (supposedly) the fans of the team who watch their player being fouled might react with violence. Nonsense of course, the violence of the 1970s and 1980s is history, the average Prem game is a safe place to go and watch sport these days, family friendly etc. When they introduce VAR I hope they remember that or fans like me will have to be listening to radio commentary to understand what is going on!

I hate it. Bayern/Hoffenheim was a joke last night with 2/3 VAR incidents which rendered the whole game laughable. Same thing this afternoon during Wolfsburg/Schalke where the ref shows a red card then a yellow! VAR blows man!
