It's very easy to think it's conclusive.

However, if you look at the shadows and the edge of the goal keepers area you can see the image has been affected by a wide angle lens so everything you see has been curved.
Using a straight line to prove the position on an image that has been curved gives a false impression. If you apply the same curve seen in other objects in the image then to me it is marginal.

Look again at the shadows of the players. Then look at the 'cut lines' of the grass.
You can clearly see that the goal scorer (Rigg) is behind Azeez, who passes the ball

As I also said before, does it matter? You deserved the win and whether this is on side or offside makes no difference to that.

There's a difference between believing that the second goal wasn't offside and agreeing that that photo is conclusive proof that it was so. Is that so hard to understand?

I can't and whether it was or wasn't doesn't matter as the goal was given and we deserved the loss.

Is this meant to cast doubt on it? I made one of those too but didn't post it because it all seemed a bit tedious. But as you're still banging on about it, that picture just makes the conclusive proof even more conclusive, if such a thing were possible.

If you'd actually drawn your line level with the ball rather than above it, then there would be no words to describe the degree of conclusiveness.

Just watched highlights on you tube, yes 2 nd goal onside.
a couple of questions,
1, Did anyone see what the "finger gesture" was by the Barnet keeper after the 2nd goal ?
2, What was that rag the Barnet were wearing ?

I'll give you one, inconclusive.
That you think you can tell using a wide angle lens from a poor angle is frankly laughable. I can't even tell whether the player passing the ball has actually made contact with it because the ball is in the way so the whole thing is a joke.
My point was really just to highlight how ridiculous the original lines drawn on the picture are and I'm glad you now can acknowledge they where put on the image to mislead rather than aid clarity.

Ha I've not yet seen the second goal but from the photos posted on here, the decision looks incredibly marginal and I would always favour the lino giving the attacking team the benefit of the doubt. Therefore, the goal looks perfectly fine to me.

The hysterical reaction from most Barnet fans seemed to suggest this was going to be the worst offside decision in the world

As for the game, it sounded like a pretty awful affair with us offering virtually nothing and Wimbledon running out deserved winners. The only positives are that we're not in the bottom two and are still miles off our record haul of consecutive FL away defeats....
