For us can only remember a game at Fisher years back in the FA Cup when one of our "fans" got on the pitch and twatted their keeper. A few of theirs got a bit lairy after that and tried to start a tear up with a few of ours. Few punches thrown, nothing too great really. I was only a kid back then, thought it was great. Having got a shortish football banning order (for stuff at another club) a few years later realised it isn't worth missing the footy for. If you wanna fight, do it away from the ground and away from innocent bysranders/kids.

Our fans are probably the best behaved and friendliest in the country btw.

What about the rivalry with Nailsworth's other club? Are there any problems in central Nailsworth on a Friday or Saturday night in the boozers/nightspots,etc?

It is easy to be well behaved when half of the crowd do not actually exist. If you do go up good luck hosting 1500+ Pompey.

You just don't want to stray too far out of the centre on a saturday night. Find yourself in another teams colours in a backstreet farm in East Nailsworth and you're asking for a kicking

The only trouble I can really remember, if you can call it that, was between one of our fans and a member of the coaching staff. This was at the final whistle of a game at Woking, not versus them but their one time tenant Hayes and Yeading, when we had gone down to a miserable defeat. I'm not sure what made our fan want to engage in a bout of fisticuffs, other than a particularly inept performance, but I think the stewards intervened and saved both parties from embarrassing themselves or spending a night in Police custody.

Putting aside the unpleasantness of some of the cross border derby's I haven't seen any aggro much since we've been down here. Certainly not compared to what we had when we used to have Cardiff and Port Vale (who always kicked off for some reason) in the League.

Newport morons throwing stuff at the coaches after they beat us in the Play Offs is about all I can think of.

Difficult question. All non-league aggro is pretty awful.

I've seen nothing, save for a couple of instances of smoke bombs, and the lone County pitch invader the other week. Some youthful Halifax fans flicking the Vs maybe?

A few of chesters lads turned up last year dressed like the icf but looking like they were on a yts scheme, non of them had probably started shaving, they did the usual shouting from behind the police and charging knowing damn well the police cordon would prevent any bother but it made them look good in front of their mates.

It makes you wonder what these 'boys' who have read awaydays and watched green street would actually do if dropped in on 1970s scotty road where you would be stanley knived if you didnt have the right accent ( got the time there mate?) or south london where the bushwackers would isolate you and ensure you left with a physical ' calling card' .

I think the only decent non league crew is probably wrexhams they always turn up in numbers our lot are dead young and like chesters they are solid when shoulder bumping pentioners or men with there sons as they walk past but if a proper crew turned up they would be on there heals before you could say... Two blokes in their sixties took a swing at each other on the terrace at Dover a couple of weeks back, though for all I know it could have been a disagreement about Bake Off and was over before it started.
Remember persuading my brother to bring his boys to a game at TNL and the Newport fans falling out among themselves which didn't help my sales drive. All nothing scuffles though.

Talking of Wrexham fans, I do remember "Glyn" tagging the inside of the home end toilet door in black marker pen in February, the swine

Some c*** at fgr threw a brick at a Telford fan travelling on their coach, Trevor Horsley paid the family off and the guy still comes to games now -_- also Newport County fans having fights with our stewards when they first came up.
