2004 was the end of us. A fantastic combination of Haslam taking money from the club and palmer selling every decent player. Recent history has been great.
Supported Crewe for the same length of time
2001-02 - 22nd Champ (Promising start, FA Cup run killed us and games came thick and fast)
2002-03 - 2nd L1 (Best season in clubs history)
2003-04 - 18th Champ (Promising start but faltered after losing to Telford in FA Cup)
2004-05 - 21st Champ (8th in January, sold Dean Ashton, stayed up by 1 GS on last day)
2005-06 - 22nd Champ
2006-07 - 13th L1 (Despite the goals of Luke Varney and Nicky Maynard)
2007-08 - 20th L1 (Despite the goals of Maynard, barely stayed up on last day despite losing 4-1 at home to Oldham)
2008-09 - 22nd L1 (Spent £1 million+ and got relegated)
2009-10 - 18th L2 (Promising start, second half of season from hell)
2010-11 - 10th L2 (11 away defeats in a row cost us promotion, just 1 win would've seen us make the playoffs)
2011-12 - 7th L2 (Promoted through playoffs)
2012-13 - 13th L1 (Won JPT that season)
2013-14 - 19th L1 (Survived on the last day of the season after a spineless first half of the season)
2014-15 - 20th L1 (Survived on the last day of the season after a spineless first half of the season and an even more spineless last day performance)
3 top half finishes in my lifetime is utterly hilarious.
