People these days don't want to watch the actors you mentioned on the big screen anymore, they want superheroes and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Nah, all those I mentioned are still way bigger than Reynolds. Samuel L Jackson is in all that superhero shit too, he was in the last Spiderman.

I don't think that highest paid denotes biggest, either. The biggest stars can be more selective with their work. Also 2020, not a great yardstick for obvious reasons.

To be fair, I’m sure Ryan Reynolds getting his knob out on Twitter would be much more accepted by the Wrexham faithful, Alan Hardy doing so wasn’t very popular in Nottingham.

Someone like Ryan Reynolds has far more to lose from making a total mess of things, though. Just PR wise. The only worry I’d have is whether they end up with too much focus on the marketing side of it (which will also be a bit cringey) than being a good football team in the fifth tier. But that’s a tiny risk compared to the potential upside.

That said, after the chaos we’ve been through with owners I’m quite happy with the quiet, unassuming Danish lads and their supercomputer. Biggest fuss they’ve caused in two seasons is changing from a manager to a head coach.
