It was the Hartlepool - Deadpool thing they wanted to exploit.

The way this year is going, and with our existing financial obligations its highly likely we wouldn't exist in a year without selling, or at least be in a much reduced state.

Fan ownership was also driving a massive wedge between sections of the fanbase.

Fair play to Wrexham- it’s certainly an interesting story and it has gotten a lot of great publicity. As a big fan of cinematic classics such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Green Lantern and The Proposal I’m jealous that you’ve been taken over in part by their star.

In all seriousness pob lwc to Wrexham. I’ve met a few Wrexham fans watching Wales and they’re certainly a long suffering bunch. Obviously I hope the luck takes a break in a couple of weeks when we visit (and obviously in the return game at GGL) but other than that fair play.

I think it would have done yous a world of good. It would have disabused you of the rancid notion that Wrexham (our most frequent opponent over our 120 year history) are some kind of sleeping giant, undeserving of their current status. It would have sorted out the wheat from the chaff among your fan base-you'd have been shocked at some of the "die hards" who quietly slipped away, some of them to magically re-appear when you got back to a level they could live with, but you have could enjoyed calling them out for it and watching them squirm.... unless YOU were one of those, huh, Dee-Dee?
