That's an epic post oaf. Glad you had an OK time

For me I think the only chance I will have is attending a wrestlemania in the UK.

Oaf has fantastic patience. i couldnt see write anything that long. kudos man and its great reading another account on it.

even though Cena continues to push for Mania in London on tv, it wont happen due to the time difference. it really should but it wont. think im gonna try leave it a few years and wait for an east coast mania in say florida or new york. then the travel wont be as harsh (16 hour flights suck)

For Dallas next year I intend on going to New York before it to cut down the journey time. 16 hours must have been awful... I did 11 hours and that was terrible enough to put me off of long flights for a long time now! Which airline did you fly with? My last two long haul flights were with Emirates and Thomsons on a dreamliner, both of which were awesome... this was on a United airlines flight though and it SUCKED. Terrible food, no leg room, generally uncomfortable.

united airways. trip from manchester to phili was alright, plenty of food, good choice of movies. thats 9 hours. but the 6 hour flight from phili to san fran was horrible. no food. no entertainment. longest 6 hours of my life.

gonna start doing air miles so hopefully in a few years ill have enough to build up to business class!

Awesome read. So very tempting to do this one day before the big names retire. Glad you enjoyed Sting vs HHH Oaf, we have something in common. The internet was split on it, but for any person that enjoyed growing up through the attitude era, this was a throwback to the great days. Sure it was slow and a clusterfuck, but who cares, WWE can start booking more like that if it's going to provide the genuine excitement this did.

Oaf/NQDP, are either of you making the trip this year?

Watched the Network 24 thing on Mania 31 the other night which was quite decent, still love the Rollins cash in moment.

I'll sort this thread out in the couple of weeks leading up to WM. Get a fresh one going.

I've not actually gone and bought a single thing toward it yet, but I'm not ruling it out. It was so good last year that the thought of not going again this year and just sitting at home watching it on TV sounds depressing as fuck.

The one roadblock on the entire thing is the price of getting to Dallas. Flights are ridiculously priced. Like, Heathrow to Dallas direct returns are 600/700 quid... yet I always find shit like Belfast to Heathrow to Dallas for like £300/£400. What the fuck is the deal with that? I've looked at other options, flying to other cities in the US and then internal flights, but it always works out as just being marginally cheaper and it's not worth it.

If I were to find cheap flights to Dallas right now, I'd buy them and commit to the entire fucking thing. I'm sure I can get decent priced WM/Axxess/NXT/Raw tickets and hotels and shit... it's literally just those flights stopping me.

You know fuckin' wot? The day I give this answer... I find a half decent priced flight. And fucking bought it...

So I have a flight to Dallas at the end of March, coming back early April. And a hotel booked as well. Now I just need to get the rest of it sorted... but yeah, a day after giving this answer, I'm now fully committed to going.

Now to check out Stubhub...

Just seen this now! How's the ticket hunting going?

The line up is slowly picking up and I don't think it'll be a great show but won't be terrible, not happy with Roman HHH as main event tho would love Ambrose to win Saturday but that's not gonna happen.

I imagine though even if it's not the greatest of shows being there and axcess, hall of fame etc and the genuine buzz around the town it's still a superb trip.

Rumours next years will be Florida, may have to seriously look into that, few days for the wrestling including Raw next night and then a few days in Miami on the piss sounds a good trip to me.

Yeh, just got a new job with more money and now Orlando is tempting me next year... WM before 2020 is on my bucket list and as much as we clamour I don't think they'll do UK any time soon.

Tempted but it's my final year at Uni and I have no clue what'll be scheduled at the time. Might have to be the year after.

If I can go it'd be great to meet up with those of you that also decide to do it. Few indie shows and some beers.

Is it a case of book hotel ASAP? 'Cause I've been looking and they either seem fully booked or it's too early to book.

Tempted by the idea of one of the WM Travel Packages - but I don't think I'd want to do all the shows you get tickets to, just WM really then spend the rest of the time having a regular holiday. The fact it includes hotel + travel to and from the stadium is appealing though.

The main reason I went to Wrestlemania last year was because it was in California... I'd always intended on doing a San Fran/Vegas/LA trip and tying it in with Wrestlemania seemed a no brainer. Honestly, I don't mind the idea of Dallas as a city but it's never been a city I've really intended to see, so that kind of put me off a bit for this years... but in the end, I decided I wanted to go purely because of how incredible an experience it was last time.

With the next being in Orlando... well, with those west coast cities done, apart from New York, Orlando is the place in America (and possibly the entire world) that I want to see the most... going for WM33 for me already seems a no brainer! Tie it in with Disney World... that sounds fucking great to me.

The ticket hunting is going ok... which seems an odd thing to say considering the fact that in 3 weeks right now, as of the time I'm typing this, WM will be 10 minutes into the show... and I still don't actually have a ticket! But prices are starting to really drop now. There are people out there, greedy fuckers like a guy I found with 11 tickets trying to get like $800 a pop for them (when they're about $400-500 face value) who just aren't going to sell them all... and in the end they'll drop the price just looking to get something, rather than nothing at all. These are the tickets I'm looking out for. But the overall trend anyway is that prices are in quite a decline as the event gets closer... just need to come across the right tickets at the right time now.

But yeah, I found with last year that WM itself is only like a third of the experience with the whole trip. Just being in San Jose for 3 nights was amazing... it's like the city was taken over by wrestling fans. You could be anywhere and see ads for WM, or just hear a random "WOOO!" and before you know it the entire fucking street is wooooo'ing their heads off. You are just swamped by wrestling fans and it's brilliant.

Earlier is probably better, yeah. I booked a hotel in Dallas that's got decent ratings and is a decent price, but it's a fair bit from the main down town area so will require a fair bit of Uber'ing back and forth.... when I've tried to find stuff closer now, it's impossible and completely sold out. With about 100,000 people descending on the city of Dallas, there is a lot of competition for hotels! And I imagine Orlando will be much the same next year...

I actually have my WM ticket now. About fucking time, seeing as I'm flying next Monday  Have 3 axxess sessions as well... did two last year and even that didn't feel like enough! Can't wait.

Still need a Raw ticket, though. The prices are still high as hell and don't seem to be dropping. I'm going to end up paying well over the odds. I mean, it'll still be worth it because the Post-WM Raw is an amazing experience... but I just hate the thought of some bastard out there getting rich off of the fact that they were lucky enough to get a ticket they never intended to use when I wasn't lucky enough to get a ticket even though I was desperate to go.

NXT tickets are still fucking criminally high as well. Doubt I'll be doing that, which is a shame because it looks set to be amazing.

It was just over $500... paid just over $800 last year. And TBH, I think with where my seat is this time, I'll have a much better view
