Still annoyed about last years result here where we conceded in the 98th minute or whatever.

Wycombe going really well early doors while we have been steady. Still suffering with injuries to key players but grinding out results in the meantime.

Not expecting a great game, would take a draw now, likely wycombe will score in the 17th minute of added time.

Wycombe fans any idea why this is all ticket?

No idea mate why it's all ticket, can only assume it's because 2 seasons ago you brought loads down on a banl holiday wasn't it? As for the game Wood,Hayes Stewart are still out injured and Harriman is doubtful after coming off injured on tuesday so we won't have a full bench again. The bus service runs every game now from the train station to the groung at £3 return.

Yeah 2 seasons ago it was a bit of a 3 pointer between the two of us battling the drop. You had a goal disallowed in the last minute I believe. Think there were 1600 of us or so, won't be half that tomorrow I doubt! Why does ainsworth not stick some youth team players on the bench?

(not that you should know this, but...) that would be cos we don't have a youth team.

Scrapped it a few years back on cost grounds, potentially counter-productive since we've probably made a million or so from flogging players that came from there. But I understand why it was done, because we really didn't have a pot to piss in at the time (and barely do today).

Couldn't have put it better myself :2thumb: At least the trust has reduced our debt since they took over from that shark Hayes.

2330 there on that Friday Jord! Claim to not tinpot fame! Probably 500 tomorrow

Remember that game well, don't think their last minute goal was offside either

My error in that case! Remember it being a great atmosphere. Didn't Ingram drop it over his line from a Ricky Ravenhill punt?!

Can understand scrapping the youth policy aswell. Although it can be a good source of income, as Exeter continually prove!

Gregor Robertson got sent off for time wasting cos he was waiting for Ainsworth to make a sub, Ref was a proper cock all game (for both teams) if i recall correctly.
Beer tent still up outside Wycombe fans?

No disrespect but it only happens when we're expecting a lot of away fans in games like Portsmouth,Luton and Oxford that will make us some money, will check and get back to you.

524 pre-sold. Not bad. So tempted to go myself, will probably decide tomorrow morning!
Hopefully our side has recovered a bit and we can get some players back, but I've lost track of who's out and who's fit to play.

We're due a win at Wycombe aren't we? 8-0 Teyn

Wilder is trying mind games on the ref. I have a nasty feeling this may backfire and see Wilder in the stand.

@NorthantsSports: Rather cynical from Wycombe. Pierre lies down in the area with a 'head injury' as #NTFC counter attack, then springs up when whistle goes.

Not much changes....

Fantastic win. Really well deserved. Wilder is absolutely magic, he's really pulling it out of the bag especially with all the off the field stuff

We lost and are still 2nd  According to a report in the local paper Northampton fully deserved the win, these bloody injuries are hurting us and now Beans is banned for 1 game but that's in the shit cup in the week. We really need Paul Hayes back from injury more than other of our casualties but achilles injuries can take a long time to heal and i know i had one myself a few years ago. Not too disheatened considering where we are right now.

In fairness to Wycombe they have quite a lot. Harriman and Hayes especially are massive misses. Surprised at Wycombe conceding 3 though.

'Most adventurous performance of any side to visit Adams Park this season'

Sounded like we had a good go and the Wycombe press back it up. Very happy days.

True but not many teams have a squad as small as ours and when 4 definate starters are out at the same time it hurts us. I read that Paul Hayes has been training this week and could be in contention for next saturday, seems we need him as Ugwu hasn't done fook all except score (according to the dodgy goals panel ) one goal and missed a lot of chances,Northampton fans you were lucky he got injured while on trial for you in the summer :ffs:
