In fairness to the lad he'll make space for others to exploit (O'Nien on Tuesday) and will keep defenders occupied. I just don't think it's a great idea to have him as a main striker. Reckon Wycombe will be a lot more potent with Hayes back. I also had another point to make, but I've completely forgotten what it is...

Agree regarding Hayes,maybe we were saving him for Bristol Rovers away next week,he and Thompson play well together as the did when playing for Scunthorpe a few years ago.

Hayes knacked is never a good thing even if we've done ok without him. Got far more of a football brain than many at this level, and reads and anticipates so well.

Re. NTFC - sounds like they'd done their homework and reacted well tactically to the early goal so fair enough.

Shit happens, suck it up, get the defenders to rewatch the video, and we move on.

A deserved win. Naturally we made life difficult at the end!

Last 30 minutes of first half we a spell of super football - with Adams at the heart of it all. Special mention for O'Toole another good performance - if he carries like that he has a future at the club.
