As this section of the forum is quite frankly weird and majorly outdated, I thought I would start this one.

A point would be a decent result but I feel looking at the two XIs, we're capable of more.

Think our starting XI is fairly cut and dried to be honest. Ginnelly might have played himself into contention as an outside bet.

I've been trying very, very hard not to start a single match thread. Worse than that, though, were the stupid titles they were given.

I will have to assert my MOD POWER if things don't change.

Anyhow, the game. Akinfenwa vs Rhead.

As Crazy says, our starting XI seems pretty set. Not ideal that we've still got problems in the full back areas at the start of the season. Probably just your standard 4-4-2 again, although I don't think we'll get away with it all of this season like we did last.

Scott Kashket is out injured which is disappointing as he has a great partnership with The Beast and knowing Ainsworth he'll play the old has been Paul Hayes instead fuck knows why but he will. Anthony Stewart is missing but we've got cover at centre back.
For any Lincoln fans coming in by train there's a shuttle bus service to and from the station to the ground at 12-55 and 1-55 PM £3 return. Away fans will also have their own beer tent in the car park that does food as well.Have a good day but hopefully not the result.

Agreed about Ginnelly. He's been brilliant pre-season, especially against Forest. He can count himself very unlucky if he doesn't start but he'll have a major part to play. JMD and Arnold are the obvious choices.
We're not used to all these game changers on the bench. They were massive for us last season, same again this hopefully.

I can't explain why our crowds suddenly jumped from 3500 to 7000 in December it just happened and now 6000 people have bought season tickets it's just crazy. It wont last a crap start and they'll be 100s of season tickets for sale on ebay!

Should point out that it is return only - you can't buy a single ticket from the ground to the town after. It's a good service though and unlike some places (Colchester...) you can't end up on the wrong bus miles over from your intended destination

Don't think any of the Lincoln fans on here have said were going steamroller this league especially while our backline is sorting itself out.
Sure we'll do well as we have some very good attacking options, time will tell of course.

Anyway, to the football. Looking forward to this, Wycombe traditionally strong at home, we have Morecambe at home next week so a point would get us going, and you would hope to take the win next Saturday.
