well seems a fair few fans of both clubs on here, so thought be good to have a thread rather than that daft match day bollocks.

One of these games that could easily go either way, both clubs seem to have been bobbing in and around the playoffs all season without pulling up any trees. One of those games where given our current form we'lol probably draw. Good to see hemmings back and Angol on the scoresheet Boxing Day.

So what's with ainsworth these days? The anti crowd seem to have quietened of late?

He's got us playing it on the ground at Adams Park hence why we've won 6 at home on the bounce, problem is away games where we revert back to hoofball. I've never been a fan of his tbf too much has gone on in previous seasons including staying up on the last day of the season 4 years ago.Too many Wycombe fans give him credit for us staying up but it was his crap management that put us in that position in the first place and had we gone down we'd have ended up in The Ryman League or whatever it's called nowadays.

I did my share of thanking Mansfield after it happened especially to Sir ( an honour bestowed on him by us Wycombe fans) after his goal and our 3-0 win at Torquay kept us up :woo:Fuck me i aged 20 years that day until the final whistle was blown in your game.

1-0 up so far, plenty of time to throw it away though.

The Beast's 13th of the season i can see him beating his total of 18 for last season. Lee Angol has come on as sub what's the betting he scores against us after we released him?

Didn't see that Coming at half time.

To get a win without 3 of our crucial players is bloody brilliant, especially with their recent home record and relative positions to us in the league.

So after a late winner against Morecambe at home after they'd equalised and then come back from behind at Grimsby and Wycombe to get 4 points is impressive.

It's bloody close at the top.

Saw the goals, the marking for akinfenwa for his goal was awful.

Looked a proper game of 2 halves. Again

I think it was Diamond who was marking him. He had apparently already taken a knock to the head for which he was later substituted. This probably had an impact on his marking.

Probably. Hopefully him and Rose recover well and soon.

As for akinfenwa, he could have a broken leg and he'd still score against us

Good win that, Need to follow it up with 3 tomorrow at home to Carlisle. I didn’t go but it sounds as though it was a battling performance 2nd half and a moment of quality from Angol got the winner. Hopefully he’s got abit of confidence with 2 in 2 now and will start to prove his worth.

A game of two halves, each team using the very strong wind very effectively.

Mansfield won toss and choose to have wind behind them second half, a very good tactical move and defended well to keep score down to only one in first half.

We were handed 5 yellows to Wycombe's one. Either we were kicking lumps out of them or the ref was a bit of a wanker/homer. Wasn't there so can't comment.
