Leave it 5 more games and your season could be a write-off already, you certainly won't be getting into the automatics with 5 more games in your current form which is why this is probably quite a difficult 'stick or twist' situation for your owners.

I'd sack him as he seems like a bit of a wetty from the interviews I've seen.

Hmm, both the Judge and TFCH have made good posts, and both are correct in their reasoning. 4 wins in the last 20 is very poor, yet every manager, and not just Still, should be given more than a few games to work with the new players he's brought in.

Only thing I'm sure of is that I'd hate to be a decision maker.

It is a tough call. Ironically, Still implied that last season our form dipped because we had shown loyalty to the squad that got us up from the Conference and many had proved not good enough for the next step. Maybe that goes further than just the playing staff. This squad is his now - only 4 of the 25 man first team squad were here before Still arrived, and all 4 of them have had contracts renewed by Still anyway. I love the guy like he's my grandad or something, but there can be no excuses this season. I agree with TFCH that it would be stupid to sack him now though. Personally I'd say the end of November would be a logical point to take stock (barring actual relegation form over a sustained period of course).

Out of interest what formation did we play today? If it's 3-5-2 I'm not too surprised we lost, but if we resorted back to something a bit more conventional and still threw it all away I'd be a little more concerned.

We played 4-4-2. Cuthbert at right back. Green wide right, Ryan Hall and then Alex Lawless wide left.

Ah cheers. Not sure about Cuthbert at RB as he doesn't seem to offer much going forward and Lawless just isn't a winger to me. At least he's trying something different though

He was in our top three in the past three Player Of The Season rankings playing right back in the division above. He's not a natural going forward, but if the wide player is good enough to bring him into the game, then he's competent. Colossal going the other way, natch.
