Still a little light I feel in CB and CM so hopefully a few ins and outs this week - a strong starting eleven none the less and looking much more solid.

I doubt Hewitt or Burke will start tbh. Reckon Tootle will assume that RWB slot and we will see Rodman start.

Don't know much about Yeovil tbh. Will be interesting, but first couple of games don't actually tell you all that much

I only think Hewitt will start due to the fact that O Connor isn't yet fit - he has looked steady during pre season

No idea what to expect as I haven't seen any of pre-season, but the line up's been pretty consistent and it seems we've looked good going forward and a bit shaky at the back - the opposite of what we were last season.

Still hoping Way brings a couple in this week as we look extremely light on the bench - looking like Saturday's could have less than 10 senior apps between them at the moment.

It's been the normal mass influx of new faces for us - our entire squad have scored a grand total of 25 goals for us and only one player has made more than 100 appearances. Very hard to tell how they will gel but pre-season has been encouraging on the whole.

Really have no idea how we will fare. We've had a fairly positive pre-season but a lot of our quality from last year has left. We will miss last years loanees (particularly Walsh) badly. Both Darren Ward and Francois Zoko whose arrivals turned our season around last year, haven't featured in pre-season at all and we will miss their experience.

I worry about our central defensive pairing of Smith and Lacey but our front three are fairly exciting.

Were we opening up against last year's Notts County I would be more positive but under Sheridan they'll be more consistent and dependable.

I really hate the start of the season as I've absolutely no idea how we will do.

An ok pre-season but who knows what that will transfer to. I think we will be a bit lacking in quality to do much better than last year

If this is the last season where I have to watch Jon Stead and Alan Smith in Notts shirts, I will consider it a successful one.

watching the highlights I suppose the one positive is that both goals were Collin's fault. I don't know why that's a positive, just feels like one.

No chance I'll be heading down Meadow Lane any time soon.

A deserved win for us and some positive signs for the season ahead. The new look front three were impressive (especially Khan) and Lawless did a great job in keeping Aborah quiet. Lost control of the game in the second half but other than a couple of runs by Forte, Notts didn't threaten our goal too much.

Delighted for Dawson to get a goal, he's a top player but has had a horror couple of years with injury.

Sorted ourselves out a bit in the second half after a car crash of a first, impressive stuff from Adam Collin to be totally at fault for two goals on his debut.

Thought we did enough to get a goal back but Yeovil deserved the win on their first half performance.

Their number eleven is a dick, though. Absolutely ridiculous stamp right in front of us on Oliver right at the end - he'll be banned if there's video of it.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone get ironic cheers 25 mins into their debut, so fair play to Collin for handing us the victory.

Excellent first 45, solid defensive performance second half, just hope Smith's injury isn't too serious.

Have to admit I did notice Dickson stepping on the Notts player (Oliver?) and I'm surprised he didn't make more of it to be honest. The last thing we need with a small squad is players missing games through something as stupid and avoidable as that, so hope it hasn't been seen.
