Flinty being wrestled looked a decent shout on the highlights.
Thanks to Wolves too.
Missed that - there was so much going on off the ball at every set-piece, it was like the game against Swindon last season.

We did you a favour at MK. Everyone seems to think were on the beach already, but we've got a few results lately.
Nice one Mark, we'll repay you with the obligatory six points next season if we stay up.

Oh yeah - and Aaron-Bcfc, your theory about the revamped gate killing the atmosphere has been proved wrong yet again. Like I said, give us something to play for and if we're doing well the crowd will respond accordingly. Still the same nutcases that come down here every week as they did before. Cracking night in the stands for a home game.

Enjoyed that a lot. Can't we have shit refs and play Warnock sides every week cause it livens us up a bit.

I've just watched Warnock's interview on Rotherhams 'world' site. Apart from blowing smoke up Lansdowns arse, telling how much he likes BCFC, saying how lovely the stadium is and slagging our showers off, guess who his man of the match was?

The referee!

Haha just watched it, good interview. Always had a good sense of humour has Colin, I love giving him stick but I don't know how people can genuinely hate the bloke!

I totally agree. While his football isn't my cup of tea at all and I wouldn't want him to manage us, I actually find him quite entertaining away from the pitch!
He definitely has a soft spot for us, that's obvious. Understandable as we're a lovable bunch and he IS a pantomime villain in my eyes. We've always given him a bit of stick at the Gate which he keeps mentioning and seems to rather enjoy!
This made me chuckle.....

I don't see what LJ said that was so wrong TBH. He asked the crowd to make the Gate uncomfortable for Rotherham. We were at home so what's the problem? What did Colin expect him to say? Give our visitors a polite round of applause and negate our home advantage?

Here's his interview.
'I hope I can come and watch them without getting pelted in the car park' - the blokes a wanker, he really is

He's always wanted to manage us, I don't think he'll ever get the chance unfortunately.

Grammatical error bud? I've corrected it for you. :)

Maybe not if we're looking to kick on then, but he's still a funny character. Wouldn't have minded him 5-10 years ago though!

How can you not love Warnock. Great interview even thought he spouts some absolute nonsense.

He's an old manager nearing the end of his career but you can see the fondness for our club he has. He's like a great football Grandad that has his grumpy mood swings and chats nonsense fairly often, but you love him for it.

We'll lose no with no Halford.

Booing St.Johns ambulance on with stretcher, vile c***. Stay classy Bristol.
In fairness that was disrespectful, but in the end he stayed on!

Either your medical staff took their sweet, sweet time, or he shouldn't have stayed on the pitch.

As for the game it felt like a repeat of the MK Dons game (think that's the right game?). Long ball, gets cleared, long ball, again gets cleared and repeat. Poor performance, good enough result in the end.

That match report is embarrassing.

Bristol don't like it up em, simple as that, fans and players alike.

I just don't get why people would expect us to go to Bristol C and try to play free flowing football.

We tried that when Redfearn was in charge and we just don't have the personnel to do it.

Tony Stewart employed Warnock & Co, no doubt at considerable expense, to try to keep us up.

He won't be bothered how we achieve it and anyway most of our supporters are happy with grafters doing a job.
Not bothered about Fancy Dans in this part of the world, rather see a team working their guts out for the cause.

I hope we keep it up on Saturday.

Bristol weren't exactly Barcelona.

Flint launches it to Wilbraham must have been a common phrase for commentators last night.

Definitely, was a proper scrap. The two finishes were probably the only touches of quality throughout the game. I enjoyed it though.

I hated every single minute after we scored dreading an onslaught which tbf didn't really come.

You're right though Derbyshire and Odemwinge's finishes were first class. Call me biased but especially my man Derbs'.

First half we were fucking terrible with the ball, we played into your hands with the long balls to the centre halves but in the second half we played some decent stuff. Odemwingie's finish was very clinical, Derbyshire's was fantastic but O'Donnell was all over the fucking place.

Why? Our support made the Gate a noisy and partisan place. Isn't that 'supporting the team'? We are City fans wtgr and will do what we can to make our place uncomfortable to visit and get on the referees' back a bit. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Nowt wrong with that it was the incessant moaning and calling for free kicks after every physical battle. From our point of view it was embarrasing.

I genuinley felt more threatend by you in first half, bar the goal game was a bit stale second half.

Is it embarrassing or is it support though? If the incessant moaning and calling for free kicks gets in the refs mind, we might gain from it. A 50/50 decision might go our way. I don't see anything wrong tbh.

Both were happy with a point it seems. Anyway, the referee was giving you absolutely fucking everything first 20 - we got on his back and every 50/50 went our way. Clever ploy on a week referee.
