I put a tenner on what I thought was a safe bet then I had 2 five pound bets which looked solid then when I realised they were going shit I spent a tenner in play to try and claw some back. Got away with it though as I won 25 back tonight. Never again though.

Forest and Bristol City look decent.

Conference wise, I'm leaning towards Eastleigh and Barnet. Macc apparently don't have a good record at Southport but they look decent to me. Woking are also tempting at Kiddy, whose home record hasn't been great recently (4 losses on the bounce I think).

Bristol Rovers might be worth something as well.

Barnet/Bristol Rovers double comes in at 5's.

Had a £5 free bet on Tuesday, turned it into £12. Got randomly bored at work on Thursday so took whatever minimal football was on and did this. Anyway, I learnt a massive lesson. 13 out of 14 selections came in. I went on 365, nowgoal, livescore, flashscore, soccerway - nothing, couldn't find any scoreline on the remaining game (Szombierki)..so I checked Twitter and the only single thing I could find on the game was an English speaking Polish football fan who said Bytom had won 4-3...so I sat waiting for the result to come through.

All of a sudden, the bet dissapeared on 365 and settled too 'lost'. So i thought ah, maybe the bloke got it wrong, but I'll check on 365 chat (which btw I waited 40 minutes to get on Dave!!) and I'll just ask them to double check, or send me a link to a place that I could find the proper result. I was told that I'd get an Email back within 24 hours confirming things.

Anyway, I clocked out of 365, logged back in 4-5 hours later and seen that they'd completely reversed the result and the polish bloke on Twitter was right. Makes you wonder, if I hadn't checked - how many random people would that have cost money? Let's face it, every man and his dog on this betting pages bet on any kind of random old shit, providing it's on 365.

Just goes to show, check ALL of your results - especially on random games on sources. I'd be £180 down if I hadn't bothered!

Seems like form has caught on. Cashed this out just a few minutes ago, I'm absolutely broke at the moment, so this will come in handy and will allow me to have a little flutter tommorrow.
