Your Clubs position on Matchday Programmes 2023/24

I'm after a little help on what your club issues matchday programme wise.
So , if its your traditional matchday programme , Digital or nothing or a monthly magazine etc.
A mention of the cost would be helpful as well.

So just your club , what format and cost would be great.

Traditional match day programme although printed on cheaper paper than previously (recycled/recyclable), but 72 pages. Price is up from last season from £3 to £3.50

Traditional. £4. Bought a couple this season for the first time in years. Not a bad read.

Still traditional at TRFC, though think we also do a free digital programme. Club did a survey at the end of last season to sound out fan views. As we still have one, guess that’s how the vote went. Think still £3.50

We ditched our traditional programme just over a year ago, instead now release a magazine once a month called "Inside Crewe" that's priced at £5. To be fair it's pretty decent, although I've not bought one in about 6 months.

Ours won best programme in league 2 twice in a row (nice to be top of something) before being ditched.

Shame to see but with everything digital now it made sense, and i suppose the club could argue it was doing it’s bit for the environment

We ditched ours a couple of years ago.

I think it went digital but not sure if we even bother with that now.

We have a membership scheme that chucks out a load of online content. £35 a year for an adult (with scarf and pinbadge etc chucked in). About £20 I think for kids and free for under 5s with a paying member. Videos, match prediction games, competitions and so on.

We've had nothing at all (despite vague pledges from the former CEO to introduce digital programmes) since after the 2019/20 season. A mistaken if understandable decision

Crawley cancelled the programme this season.

Last season the typeface was so small I couldn't read it so I stopped buying it (I have reading glasses...I'm old). I have my suspicions that that was done deliberately.

My personal preference would be for a reduced programme. Team news and a potted history of the opposition that day. Adding an occasional history article and obituary and that's enough.

Just as an addition to this a fellow supporter at Crawley (Mick) was doing occasional history bits in the programme. As this has now been cancelled the supporters club have set it up online.

It cost £3 last night and not really value for money compared to previous seasons.

We've ditched ours as well, we lost £30k last season before you even took into account the time it look to put together.

Ours is still going for £3.50, from what I've been told the club are still happy to do them as our sales are holding up.

Did a special promotion one last season which sold really well which helps.

Yeah agree ; you might have hoped there'd have been a resurgence in Fanzines but I havn't come across one for a while at any ground.

I think most were produced to just cover the cost, but the content from a fan perspective was excellent, far outweighing any official programme.
