With only 3 games left what are yours?

Player of the season-
Adam Reach
Carried us through when the squad was down to barebones and kids, come on leaps and bounds this season, tired over the last month or so but understandable considering he's missed about 45 minutes of football all season. Be surprised if there is no interest in him over the summer.

Goal of the season- Adam Reach V Aston Villa

Performance of the season- Aston Villa (A) 2-0 Win

Worst Performance of the season- Burton Albion (H) 3-0 Loss

Best and worst signing-
Best-
Frederico Venancio (Loan)
Worst- Jacob Butterfield (Loan)

Season Rating- 3/10, 150th anniversary year, supposed to be the year we went on after two play of defeats and competed for a top 2 place ruined by awful summer recruitment, ridiculous injuries, being beaten on our own patch by our neighbours, even having to look over our shoulders at the bottom 3 at one point, thank god it's nearly over.

Player of the season- Alan Browne
Break out season for Browne, I've always been a big fan but he's been inconsistent in previous seasons and nobody really knew what his best position is (still don't tbh). He's been instrumental for us and scored a few great goals. Just pips Pearson and Ben Davies for me.

Goal of the season- Browne vs Wycombe in the cup I reckon, brilliant volley with his left foot from 25 yards.

Performance of the season- Tough one this, we've had a lot of excellent 45 minute performances but I'm struggling to think of a game where we have been good for the whole 90. Will go for Bolton away.

Worst Performance of the season- Ipswich at home, could have played all week and not scored.

Best and worst signing-
Best-
Darnell Fisher
Worst- Louis Moult (although may come good, not had much chance yet)

Season Rating- 8/10, fantastic season which could be even better if we pull off a miracle last 3 games. If we can keep hold of the spine of the team I would fancy us for top 6 next season.

I'd throw Huntington in the hat for potential player of the season.

Player. John fleck/mark Duffy very hard to pick between them, our best 2 players by some way imo, fleck plays every game and is always consistent, Duffy is a game changer.

Goal. Lee Evans against Boro, probably goal of the season all round until neves the night after.

Best performance. Been plenty of them but I've got to go with hillsborough.

Worst. Can only go off what I've seen live or on tv, probably brum at home but there has been worse by all accounts.

Best signing. George baldock, very good attacking full back

Worst signing. Cheds been disappointing, Holmes done nothing either to break into the side.

Season overall. 7/10 at this time, it was 10/10 17 games in. 9/10 if we make top 6.

Player of the season- Curtis Davies, had a quality year. A snip at 500k, one of few players who haven't hidden when we've been under the cosh the last few months. Proper leader, hopefully will be made captain permanently.

Goal of the season- Vydra's second up at Boro, nice play to win the ball back high, good interplay and a lethal finish. Typical of us when in our early-mid season form.

Performance of the season- Villa at home or Boro away - Rowett at his best, kept two good teams at arms length, managed the game perfectly.

Worst Performance of the season- We've had some shockers recently. Losing 4-1 at home to Sunderland probably. The Wolves performance last week was spineless though, as was the follow up at Burton.

Best and worst signing-
Best-
Curtis Davies. 7/10 all year.
Worst- Cameron Jerome. Why the fuck we thought it was a good idea to sign him for 1.5 million and loan out Chris Martin I'll never know. No pace, no touch, can't finish... awful.

Season Rating- 8/10 until Christmas. 5/10 since. Again.

Player of the season- Tough choice since it could be anyone in our starting XI, but you can't really see past Ruben Neves. The best player I've personally ever seen play for Wolves. One day he will be playing for Real Madrid.

Goal of the season- Take your pick from any of Ruben Neves' goals this season. However, that goal vs Derby is the goal of a lifetime, never mind a season. Can watch that goal over and over all day long.

Performance of the season- Again take your pick from so many games. I'll go with the 2-0 win at home to Villa in October. In reality it should have been 5 or 6 if it wasn't for an expert display from their goalkeeper. Absolutely dominated them all game.

Worst Performance of the season- Our 4-1 reverse game to Villa. We never really got going and Villa punished us. Referee was beyond pathetic though, missing two clear penalties aswell as their 2nd goal shouldn't have counted. Moving on...

Best and worst signing-
Best-
I'll go with Nuno. Without him none of this would have happened.
Worst- Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, signed him as cover for Doherty and has been injured all season. Don't really rate Miranda either.

Season Rating- 11/10, Couldn't ask for much more

Player of the season- Tough to call really in that there's been so few candidates. In the beginning half of the season most would've said Samu Saiz but he's been dreadful since January and the spitting incident hasn't endeared him to anyone. On that basis, the only consistent performer has been Pablo Hernandez, so him.

Goal of the season- Not a great year really for wondergoals but this has to be a contender purely for the comment that precedes it:

https://twitter.com/WALM0T33/status/955390451871297536

If that doesn't load then this....

Performance of the season- None from October onwards. Probably the home win against Burton early doors. Think it was 5-0.

Worst Performance of the season- Most of them since October onwards. I'd go Boro away, woeful.

Best and worst signing-
Best-
Samu Saiz
Worst- Felix Weidwald

Season Rating- 2/10. Dreadful. Haven't built on the good work Monk did last season. We haven't replaced players like Bartley, Wood and Taylor with anyone to a similar standard. What we have done is used the money from Taylor/Wood to spend on lots of mediocre players, which at least means we haven't spent much. There is no natural leadership within the team and if it hadn't been for the good start we had, we'd be relegation fodder..... I think we have the worst form in the league since our win on Boxing Day. A huge summer ahead for the regime.

Player of the season: Probably Luke Freeman. Been our main creative force this season, despite not passing the ball enough. Massimo Luongo and Jack Robinson have been brilliant as well but Freemans goals and assists put him top in m eyes.

Goal of the season: Well we havent scored many so I would probably go with Paul Smyth.

Good first touch, vollied left foot finish. Brilliant from a youngster.

Best: Got to be Villa away. Outplayed them and won 3-1. Manning getting ahead of John Terry to score a header also helps. The comeback away to Fulham is a close second.

Worst: Been a fair few! Forest away was terrible, but we had a run of 5 games where we had 2 shots on target in total. But losing 5-2 at home to Forest is the worst one. At least it made Holloway stop playing with 3 at the back.

Best signing: Scowen is the best one. He has been more or less an ever present and has won the fans over with his work rate and tenacity.

Worst: Hard to say with the worst, not many have played. Wheeler(from Exeter) probably mainly because he has only played once. I think he will come good though.

Season rating. 6. Start of the season was terrible but since having 4 at the back, we have played really well and looked like we could go on and have a good season next year. I actually feel positive.

We have Bright-Samuel, Manning, Smyth, Eze, Wheeler, Chair who all look like they should kick on and have a great season. The likes of Perch and Mackie are going and the young players are coming in so I am confident for next season.

Player of the season- Adama Traore - Has won us games on his own and without his pace and creativity I think we would probably be about 14th by now.

Goal of the season- Friend away at QPR. Screamer

Performance of the season- Maybe Leeds at home or Sheffield Wednesday away. We tend to play well for 45 minutes not a full 90.

Worst Performance of the season- Burton away. Very luck to get a draw.

Best and worst signing-
Best-
Howson has come into his own recently and Besic has been good since he joined on loan. Probably Randolph overall I wasn't expecting much but he's made some top saves.

Worst- Ashley Fletcher but that was obvious really. Very strange signing. His only saving grave is the good work he's doing at Sunderland currently.

Season Rating- 6.5/10 - Considering we were going to 'smash the league' and we spent so much money it's never really got going. We might sneak into the play offs but I think that was the least anyone would have took at the start of the season. Some of the money we have wasted is crazy - Braithwaite (9m) went on loan in January, Fletcher (6.5m) went on loan in January, Christie (2.5m) left in January.

That Eze was fantastic first half on Saturday, ran the game. Faded a bit in the second half but looks a real talent.

A few prem clubs are looking at him. He isn't a striker and Holloway found that out against Hull. A very good second striker though. Apparently Spurs are looking at him as well now (only forum talk so probably means sod all).

I only remember this due to football manager but wasn't Wheeler from Exeter?

Okay I know I've been to literally zero games, but I've watched more or less all of them live on ifollow, so I'll do an attempt for us.

Player of the season- Usually this is easy. Not so this season. Shaun Hutchinson won an unofficial supporters POTY, but it could easily have gone to Jed Wallace, George Saville, or a number of others.

Goal of the season- We've scored some peaches this season! I'm partial to Jed's goal against Bristol City, but I did love the whole-pitch-length run by Mahlon Romeo at Bolton too.

Performance of the season- Leeds at home. Absolutely battered them.

Worst Performance of the season- Either of the games against Rochdale in the Cup, Barnsley at home, Norwich away were pretty bad.

Best and worst signing-
Best-
The deal for Saville and Wallace from Wolves. One of the best deals we've ever made, let alone this season.

Worst- none have been bad. Tom Elliott I guess?

Season Rating- 10/10 - how could I possibly make it lower? Staying up was the aim, yet with three games to go, promotion is still in our own hands. Madness. Harris and his players deserve all the praise in the world.

Opposite to ET, been to just about all the games

Player of the season- George Saville was running away with 1st half of the season, Hutchinson and Cooper would be worthy winners, but Jed Wallace for me. 7 Goals and 14 Assists.

Goal of the season - Morison at Norwich or Ben Marshall at Barnsley

Performance of the season- Leeds away, Good Bad and Brilliant

Worst Performance of the season- Burton at Home

Best and worst signing-
Best-
Agree Saville and Wallace from Wolves.

Worst- not had a flop, suppose Toffolo who hasn't featured, bit harsh

Season Rating- 11/10 - [2nd half of the season/QUOTE]

Player of the Season - Scott Carson - the bloke nearly has a clean sheet for every other game he's played this season, and although the defence have played their part it still doesn't come close to telling the amount of points he personally has got us. Vydra a close second for scoring the much needed goals at the other end of the pitch.

Goal of the Season - Matej Vydra - I think the free kick against Hull, whilst not as memorising or easy on the eye as some of the other goals we've scored this season, would have been absolutely impossible for any keeper to save. Idiakez scored some really good free-kicks from long range, but I think the pace & accuracy of this one means that it is categorically impossible to save. The keeper could have been standing right there and it would have ripped his hand off.

(46 seconds)

Performance of the season - Difficult one. I haven't really seen us play well this season, but Boro 3-0 away stands out.

Best Signing - Curtis Davies

Worst Signing - Cameron Jerome

Season Rating - 6/10 - I feel our position hides the fact that our performances have been well under-par. Improvement very much needed.
