As we're two weeks away from the season starting, I'm sure most clubs have done the majority of their business by now so thought it'd be a good time to see fans predictions of how their team is going to do next season using this template...

Team: Chesterfield FC
Key player(s): Curtis Weston and Lee Shaw (From what I've seen in pre season)
Your teams biggest strength: With the power and physicality of our team I can see us being a huge threat from set pieces, including throw ins if we sign sam muggleton!
Prediction for where you'll finish: Play-offs
Ground most looking forward to visiting and why?: The Shay, brilliant traditional old stadium and not too far too travel!
Tips for Promotion: AFC Fylde and ourselves
Tips for Relegation: Eastleigh, Maidstone, Gateshead & Braintree

Tips for Promotion: Salford
Tips for Relegation: Dagenham, Barrow, Maidenhead and Havant

Is there a reason why you're a regular poster on the non league forums or are you just preparing yourself for next year???
Is there a reason why you didn't answer my question?

Is there a reason why you didn't answer my question?
Having just come down from league 1 I expected us to atleast make the play offs yes, as we had done well at league 2 level in recent years...

No one thought it was possible to recruit a worse squad than the one we had in league 1 during the 16/17 season but Caldwell and Branston somehow managed it between them.

However I have faith in MA to stop the rot and that's where my optimism comes from

When you lose 2-1 at home to Braintree/Barrow you’ll soon lose all optimism and talking about “glory” years will be the only thing saving you.

Is Byron Harrison still with you? Haven't seen any mention of his loan becoming permanent.

Teams strengths solid hard working unit that defensively set us up for a strong 2018
Prediction for where you’ll finish mid table sort of 11-19. Question marks over losing Yates but seem to have continuity despite that good core we have very few players in the squad as it stands.
Ground you’re most looking forward to visiting: don't go away, but given our location related to others London Manchester the quickest and cheapest to visit, all depends on date, I guess Orient for the day out.
Pick for promotion Orient and Salford
Pick for relegation Gateshead, Braintree, Maidenhead, Barrow

He hasn’t been with us at all pre-season

Do you think Doswell was just hugely disappointed, or his wage was too high? Was on £1,200 p/w for us, and was unfit for almost a full year.

Both most likely. His goal return after his first few games wasn’t great. £1,200 p/w is more than we would pay a player long-term

Key player(s): I've never heard of most of them but Ugwu needs a big season, and Joe Rowley is a talent
Your teams biggest strength: I've not seen any of pre season, but we are scoring a few and a lot from set pieces.
Prediction for where you'll finish: Stab in the dark without knowing anything about this league but somewhere between 8th-10th maybe
Ground most looking forward to visiting and why?: I've got 14 new grounds so will aim to do them. Our big away followings will be Harrogate, Halifax and Salford also so should be good days out.
Tips for Promotion: Salford and don't know
Tips for Relegation: Barrow and Gateshead seem to be the ones struggling the most from reading on here, but don't know much about the rest to comment yet.

Why are everyone tipping Barrow for relegation ...… they're a bank-rolled club for fuck sake.

That guy is calling everyone bankrolled. Could he name a non bankrolled national league team? According to Guiseley Steve our owner Is worth 300m!?
Funny I checked our accounts from last year and there is little evidence of any of these old wives rumoours, in fact the Guilsely accounts how the operated at over twice our budget. These guys in the know seem to just spread rumour and assure themselves of its validity.
