Alright then, which of us losers have somehow actually made it this far?

Friday:
Macclesfield Town v Oxford United AND IT'S LIVE

Saturday:
Blackpool v Brackley Town
Luton Town v Solihull Motors
Sutton United v Cheltenham Town

Sunday:
Curzon Ashton v AFC Wimbledon
Bristol Rovers v Barrow
Eastleigh v FC Halifax Town
Millwall v Braintree Town
Stourbridge v Northampton Town
Woking v Accrington Stanley

Monday:
Lincoln City v Oldham Athletic AND IT'S LIVE

These plucky postmen and binmen are potentially just 90 minutes away from a MASSIVE third round away tie at Rotherham.

We have 3 defenders available, which is going to be an issue. Howe, who'd have replaced the suspended Raggett, is cup-tied and Beevers is long term injured. That means McCombe might have to play despite being 2 or 3 weeks away from being fully fit. He's had some sort of injection to aid some long term hamstring troubles so whilst he's not injured per se, he shouldn't really play otherwise the injection might turn out to be a waste of time.

Failing that, maybe Wood at CB and a winger at RB. Not sure a CB fancies coming in on loan for what will basically be one game, or that a Club would let it happen.

Everyone else is ok I think, but Whitehouse is also cup-tied.

We'll be fancying our chances. In league standing terms it's basically 1 league than 2, and I only noticed today that they've only scored 11 goals in the league this season, which is crazy.

Not keen about the draw for the third round being made before our game, mind.

Gonna be tough for us, need to start very quickly and not let them settle, ideally an early goal.

Heart will see me getting more BULLISH closer to kick off, but head can't see past an arrow defeat at the moment.

Despite Tuesday I fancy us on Saturday, Cheltenham are struggling and we've just signed Matt Tubbs. Away win

Honestly can't wait for our MASSIVE FA Cup 2nd round match with EASTLEIGH FOOTBALL CLUB. An honour to be featured on FINAL SCORE, play at a STAND OUT STADIUM and against a team HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the rest in mid table in the national league.

Though seriously, a great achievement to reach the 2nd round and a winnable tie against an out of sorts Eastleigh. Hopefully some luck on our side so we scrape through, then man united away.

Though if we get through can't wait to watch the draw and jump for joy at some former man united player pulling our name out of the hat for Burton away...

Strange feeling to be in the 2nd Round for the first time in 10 years and to not be particularly excited about it because we're playing £a$t£ei£h. Hopefully the team that haven't won much recently and don't have an eligible goalie turn up, rather than the team who've just signed a manager who actually knows what to do with a bottomless pot o' gold. Hopefully the team that lost against eight men, threw the Trophy and the West Riding Cup don't turn up, and the team that outshone Dagenham & Redbridge do. And hopefully no-one on the coach down will be listening to the Offspring so loud on their earphones that you hear every last "Give it to me baby/Uh huh! Uh huh!" Best book my seat on it first, though.

I'll refrain from commenting until we've drawn a worthy opponent. :bdick:

Sutton the best chance of an upset, though a full strength Lincoln will give Oldham a hard game.

Sadly we aren't at full strength though, Whitehouse and Howe are both cuptied and Raggett is suspended after his silly indiscretion against Wrexham (Howe would have come straight in for Raggett). The CB likely to play is McCombe who has hardly featured this season. Still reckon we will give Oldham one hell of a game but we may well have to rely more on our attack than trying to keep them out.

Only if we pump some fog into the stadium, last Saturday was probably the best we'd played at home since August.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Good luck all the conf north sides left involved.

Real tough ask for Curzon to beat Wimbledon......nothing suits a cup shock really. Curzon have a superb pitch and play a near all passing 'build from the back' approach, neither really help to cause a shock.

Its really all going to be about dons attitude, hoping they start lazy and slow....they don't close us down, allow us to play and build confidence.

Problem is if dons turn up and push us back because we lack the targetman to play a deep game.

Recent home games we did finally play it abit more mixed with direct balls to corner for faster wide men to run onto and then play about the box.....may be our bed tactic and worked vs Halifax.

Our biggest game in the last five years. We won't get a better opportunity to reach the third round for a long time. The game is so big that we've ordered FIVE HUNDRED CLAPPERS for it. Massive.

Let's av it.

Fingers crossed!

I have no love whatsoever for Oxford United, which goes back many years and not just because they beat us in the Cup last season, for that reason Macc will have another fan this evening...cheering them on loudly from his sofa!

(Good luck to all the other non-league teams in action in this round, do us proud, time to put rivalry aside and back the underdog)

We have 1000 clappers ordered for tomorrow. Sutton United yet again leading the way in Surrey and proving ourselves to be twice the club of Woking

Well done to Macclesfield. In the hat for the 3rd round and a very solid performance against a league one outfit. Shame Macclesfield couldn't nick it.
