Biggest game in our history tomorrow as we travel to Luton, it will also probably be the biggest crowd that we have ever playing in front of. How about this Sparrow - We are taking FOUR coaches :bdick:
INVASION. Can't wait

Hope you enjoy your day tomorrow although of course hopefully not too much from our perspective.

As I am sure many on this part of the forum will be more than aware of and happy to point out, these are exactly the types of games we used to have real trouble with when we were in this division so I am sure you will know that you have more than a fair chance, especially if you frustrate the home crowd. This year we play a 442 diamond with emphasis on possession which if you have done your homework, get the ball wide when you have and play with a lot of pressing on the back 4 and defensive midfield you should be able to cause us real problems as quite a few sides have this year. I think the movement of Hylton/Marriott (who I have a feeling will return from the bench this weekend) will probably be a bit too much for you but certainly not expecting an easy ride.

Good effort from us last night, nothing would just quite drop cleanly for us in and around the box. Long shot to win the replay but yer never know.

Macc edged it for me, but the game was what I'd describe as a typical Macc side under Askey. Nice and tidy in possession, relatively solid at the back, create chances but don't have anyone who can score.

Anybody knows anything about this Osborne lad? I see he bagged himself two goals at the Kenny.

Virtually the last kick of the game with the winner. What a moment. Makes the crap worthwhile. A beautiful, beautiful moment

Well done Sutton, goes to show what you can do with 1000 clappers egging your team on.

Sutton knocked us out, so surely it's a given that they'll go on and win the whole bloody thing now.

Well done doing what no non league side has done in a long time btw, beating both Glos giants in the same season.

Yes, Aspin wanted to sign him 2 years ago but they wanted silly money and we weren't willing to pay, so he arranged a move to somewhere else for nothing so we could get him on the cheap from there but he told everyone about the "plan" so we dropped it. :bdick:

Great effort Sutton, good luck in the draw.

Don't forget there will be an asterisk against the result though due to THAT pitch. ;)
