Yes, go to Wolverton on the canal. It's only a ten minute or so drive to the ground from there.

Edit , What the Last Waltz said, Fenny Stratton.
Cheers, guys.

And Grimsby is so wonderful............
I’ve been to MK quite a lot when my Sister in Law lived there, and I’d genuinely rather live in Grimsby.

Which says a lot.

I would rather live in Grimsby, or Cleethorpes to be fair.

When I was a kid we lived near MK and I like going in to see films at the Point, go to Wimpy and see the antimatronic Christmas displays. Wouldn't want to live there though, absolutely soulless

I stand corrected, soulless and unsafe. What a combo. When there is a crime in MK it's violent.

Thanks Dan, you better stick to the nice surrounding rural parts when you visit.

Check out Bradford leading the pack.

First time visiting Sutton on Saturday any decent pubs near the ground? Hoping to see if we can finish this game with 11 players on the pitch

Is there such a thing as a decent pre match boozer for MK?
In the absence of decent options (we even tried the IKEA meatballs with IKEA Lager), The Inn on the Lake became our boozer of choice.

Easy free parking, decent food and beer, pleasant easy walk to the ground. Not a proper boozer and not great if its raining but very welcoming. The landlord is a rugby league fan.

The Robin Hood continues to deliver. Street parking between the pub and the ground in the evening. More problematic on saturdays but a few options and a multi-storey nearby if all else fails.

Quality food (not quick) and decent beer. Welcoming landlord. Found it with the Barrow gang and enjoyed it for our League Cup tie earlier this season.

We really need to get something away at Colchester, at least a point. In the next few weeks, we are at home to Mansfield and Crewe and I can't see us taking anything from either of those.

The Gander Inn was decent enough, had the footy on the TV, close to the ground, lots of free parking in a nice residential area.
Free parking providing you arrive early otherwise it's the multi-story in town. I used to go to GGL a couple of times a season and gave up driving as I was only a few stops away on the train.

If you're arriving by train, when you head home, don't head towards Wimbledon. Go from West Sutton to Sutton then stay on the train as it carries on up to town. I got many thanks from the Barra lads a few years back as it meant that they got their connection back up north.

Got my 8 year old with me at Bradford on Saturday. Anybody recommend somewhere near the ground that's alright for food?
Cheers in advance

It depends really what he/she wants/likes, but I know the Instanbul Shawarma on Manningham Lane goes down well with fans. There’s the KFC equivalent in SFC - just your usual, fried crap.

But honestly, venture into the City Centre. It’s a 15 minute walk from the ground, but your choices for food and drink are far superior.

Any Crewe supporters travelling to Crawley on Saturday be mindful that there are roadworks now on the M25 at the A3 junction (10) which have been causing problems over the past few weeks - you could find yourself queuing from the M3 junction - you may want to consider what time you are leaving - better early that late. Redz is open from midday and all away supporters are welcome for a pre-match drink and food is available in the Fans Zone area. Safe journey.

No matchday parking in the stadium for away supporters except the coach(es) but plenty of street parking locally and an office car park just before you get to the stadium - sign posted if coming down from the M23 at Pease Pottage.

Both times I’ve been to Bradford we parked at Broadway shopping centre which is around a 20 minute walk away and there is a really big food court inside there that looks really nice.
No idea if it’s any good or not but it certainly looks like it.

The weather forecast isn’t looking great, Prenton Park’s never been the best with excess water, possible chance of a postponement? Nice to see we have a Merseyside official as well, will be getting the excuses in early got this one!

Could be jinxing this but don't think the weather is going to be as bad this side of the pennines this weekend. Not saying it won't be wet and miserable but don't currently see North West weather as being P-P type stuff.

As Fish said Broadway is probably the best place to park, but it depends on your groups ability to walk as it’s 20 minutes and starts with a bit of a hill. But if you’re capable then it’s worth it as you have more of a selection than near the ground. I’m not sure what food you’re after but there’s a decent Italian called Mama Mia’s between Broadway and the stadium, that said I’ve not been in years but it has sponsorship at the club so seems to be doing well. Loads of curry places if that’s more your thing, good restaurants in Bradford and it should give you a better idea.

Pretty bad weather forecast. What’s your pitch like normally Bradford fans?

Been really excited for this one.

Must be all those visiting Russians coming over to see the cathedral
You joke about things like that but that's how stats work. There's a village just up the road from here whose one petrol station was robbed three times one year and it ranked top for violent crime in England and Wales.

Same thing happened to a small town near hear named Billingshurst.

Lies, damned lies and statistics.
