you played well for 37 mins - then as soon as you let a goal in the players heads dropped and there was only 1 winner - could easily have been 5 or 6 after that.
Did we take many up? Was looking forward to this one but had to spend the weekend in Bristol.

Signing about people who have disabilities, what a classy club you have...

It was 3 or 4 that did it and they were told it's not acceptable. They won't be doing it again. Our club is in general a great club, every club has its morons unfortunately.

He's still not gone.

It's official people, a draw at Braintree is a positive result now. You can all sleep safer if you should ever fail there this season.

Go on Brainy Tree!

If 1-1 at Braintree is a "positive result" I am going to drive off a cliff.

I hope you're gonna take a parachute with you!

Think the official away attendance was 58, seems okay for the distance they had to travel, especially as I believe there was no coach up this time.

Nah, he's past it :D
Seems your goalie Johnny 'SuperTed' Maxted is far from past it.
Once again he is in the Non League Paper's TEAM OF THE DAY.
Be careful FGR might recall him from loan especially as this week 'Super' Sam Russell only received 6 points despite not conceding a goal in five games.

knew it was going to be a tough game for us, and it turned out that way too. still we put a shift in in the first half and looked quite good, and were maybe a little unlucky to go in at HT a goal down. second half we seemed to lose our way, and barrow took full advantage. they're a good side IMO and i can't see many teams coming away from there with much. apart from the result though, it was a good day all round. looking forward to our trip there next year, assuming they don't go up that is.
will have to be a weekender though, that's one hell of a journey to do in one day.

I hope not he's been doing very well except for his kicking which needs some work :)

The only 2 good players we have at the club having a brainfart between them to gift a goal. That should help.

If they're your 2 best players then your squad needs a serious overhaul. Jalal was so reluctant to come off his line it was unbelievable, against better opposition he'll be punished for that. As for Tilt, any centre back who gets skinned by Cook's lazy shot faint needs releasing and both of Wrexham's centre backs were done by it. Wrexham looked a shadow of the side we played 3 times last season

If Chester keep a clean sheet at York in their next league fixture they will equal the Conference record of 8 consecutive shut outs held by Colchester and Stevenage.
Lets hope they keep there caretaker manager on for 2 more weeks

Think he meant against York its a foregone conclusion that the record will be equalled :emb:

We are on our way, 5 in a row for us as well. Does this mean loads of teams strikers are shit or just that this league is

Mark Cooper described our 3-0 away win on Saturday as rubbish, and said he "fell asleep 3 times" during the game.

He demands high standards, expects to see us playing like Barcelona EVERY week. Legend.

Staggeringly, everyone seemed to miss Bendubz's joke. Christ.
He mentioned York, which should be a fairly blatant clue that there's likely to be a joke in there somewhere.

Somebody did ask earlier in the thread what the record is. He knows, he's told us.

Twas i that asked and despite being a tranmere man i actually hope they break the record

Then become complacent and get murdered by us in a few weeks

Oh dear for Guiseley. I've just read in local newspaper that SuperTed is to return to FGR around New Year time.
From memory, that's when his loan expires so no surprise. Young Dan Atkinson has done very well in the two FA cup games against Lincoln which will boost his confidence for Saturday :)
